Review: Deathstroke #14

This issue opens up with Deathstroke taking his daughter to some filthy bum ally way or street to show her what the world looks like anf how to defend herself. And the father of the year award goes to Deathstroke. Actually sorry we have to give the award to someone else who wouldn't put their chiled through that shit. I mean yes she knows how to defend herself but he shouldn't have done that. Also apperently you can show your kid what the world looks like just by driving down an ally way full of bums or walking down one. Also yes I don't like bums cause their filthy they're pretty much hillbillies just without swamps and banjos. Anyways next we see Deathstroke get his ass tased. Dam where's the replay button. We find out that Deathstroke got some sort of tracking device that he got from Victor Ruiz which shows him where his daughter is. If you ask me I think Victor Ruiz either hired people to kidnap Deathstrokes daughter or is working for the person who kidnapped her and is just leading Deathstroke on a wild goose chase. We see that Deathstroke broke into lexcorop looking for his daughter. Does seem like Lex Luthor could've done it but then again didn't he become a good guy? We get a bunch of fight scenes. Deathstroke vs Lexbots, Deathstroke vs Mercy Graves, and finally Deathstroke vs Iron Man. This issue ends with Deathstroke breaking through the floor and landing in a room full of bizarros. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good except for the beginning. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Am I the only one that thinks Ravager should get her own series? Things I learned from this issue. Deathstroke vs taser equals his ass falling on the ground. Note to self when fighting Deathstroke just use a taser cause that'll bring him down.

Review: The Amazing Spider-Man #4

This issue opens up with Scorpio getting a reading from the stars... I feel like were gonna get one of his readings in each issue and if that happens I'll drop the rating on this book so bad. I don't read Spider-Man for fortune cookies I read it to see Spider-Man fight people and to see the sexy Mockingbird :). Anyways we see a whole team of people going to all the different zodiac bases. I wonder if there's gonna be fortune cookies for all of them at the bases. We see Spider-Man and Mockingbird in the Web-Jet. Can I just say how glad I am that Mockingbird got her own series :). Spider-Man gets a call from his Aunt May who's putting up solar panels in a pore state where she also gets attacked by a bunch of people dressed as trolls.... what do you mean their goblins and noy trolls? For a minute there I thought the trolls had gotten tired of living under a bridge and decided to rise up and try to take over humanity. Anyways we see Spider-Man eject Mockingbird out of the Web-Jet  and totally ditch the s.h.i.e.l.d mission in order to save his aunt. I don't blame him so I don't see why everyone in getting so pissed at him for leaving. Next we see all the s.h.i.e.l.d members find fake zodiac bases. I'm surprised there isn't some kind of fortune cookie or horoscope reading there for all of them. We get to see Spider-Man fight War Tr- I mean War Goblins. Yay Mockingbird came and helped him save everyone :). Also is it me or does it look like maybe something is brewing between Spider-Man and Mockingbird. This issue ends with Dr. Connors seeing his dead wife and son again. At least I think they're dead from the way he talks. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Damit I think these Spider-Man issues are trying to tell me to go eat Chinese food so I can get a fortune cookie. Things I learned from this issue. Spider-Man will leave any mission he's on in order to save his Aunt May. Wait how has she not died from old age yet? I'm guessing every time a new Spider-Man movie comes out her comic book self turns into that younger version or she just steals that Aunt Mays life force.

Review: Harley Quinn & Power Girl #5

This issue opens up with us finally seeing the harvester of sorrow which is basically just a giant head that can't hear people unless they're really close to it. Wait how'd it know it got summoned then if it can't hear jack shit from a far distance? I would've at least explained that whole part better. Anyways Power Girl ends up throwing the bad guy who summoned the harvester right into the harvesters nose. Well that's not good then just got a rocket shot at them. We see Harley Quinn imagine some guy giving her a pep talk which cause her to use the hard-light gloves to make a motorcycle that swnds her straight into the harvesters mind. Well so far Harley Quinn is doing more then Power Girl. We see the harvester put Harley Quinn into a gummy bear and then try to take over her mind or something which backfires causing Harley Quinn to go into Joker mode and unleash a virus inside of the harvester turning it into a giant laughing Joker head. Even when Harley Quinn is this crazy I'd still hang around her and love her. Dang that had to hurt she just ripped off Vartoxs mustache. This next scene was funny with him crying like a baby and Power Girl punching him into space. We see Power Girl and Harley Quinn escape before the giant joker head explodes. Yay Harley Quinn got out alive :). This issue ends with Vartox proposing to Power girl. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good can't wait to see how this mini series ends. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. So is Power Girl gonna say yes? Wait is it me or does it seem like Vartox is moving way to fast? Things I learned from this issue. When fighting a giant head have Harley Quinn with you so she can go in it and go into joker mode and put a virus in it causing it to laugh and explode.

Review: Web-Warriors #7

This issue opens up with us in Spider-Punks world at least I think that's what his spider namd is. Anyways we learn that he's part of a band called Spider-Slayers. I'm betting the mary janes are way better then the Spider-Slayers. They should totally have those to bands facd off. Heck I'd read the issue if they fid that. Anyways we see some company stop them from playing their songs and then attack the crowd and the band members. Note to self avoid any kind of Spider-Slayers concert unless you want some company and a bunch of their gaurds to attack you.  Next we see Spider-Ham save the day... wait why is Spider-Ham wearing that weird outfit. Anyways next we see Lady Reilly yelling at Spider-Ham for eating her food. Wait how can he be in two places at once? I'm so confused. Also Spider-Ham next time you eat someones food don't go posting about it on your blog. Plus who reads blogs about food? Like hey if your hungry just eat something instead of reading something that'll make you even more hungry. Next we see Hobart or Spider-Punk come to loom world where he drops Spider-Ham. Ok now I get it it's just a different version of Spider-Ham... wait why is he tied up though? I mean he just saved Spider-Punks ass so why is Spider-Punk webbing him up? Odd way to thank someone who just saved your ass. Note to self never save Spider-Punk unless you want him to web you up and drop you off in loom world. Next we see Spider-Gwen come to loom world and thdn we see Spider-Punk have a fan boy moment. I'm surprised he isn't webbing her up and taking her home to his creepy basement where he'd probably chain her up in some skimpy outfit. Hey it wouldn't surprise me so don't give me that look like I'm crazy. Like heck so far he's shown that he'd probably pull that crap so thus I don't trust him. Also Gwen Stacy was also a musician on his earth. What a surprise so is Spider-Gwen though I'm sure she's way better. Spider-Punk takes the Web-Warriors to his world to show them what happened after Spider-Ham showed up. Wow I'm surprised he didn't web them all up just to take them to his world and show them all the Duckbots attacking the place. Yep you heard that right Duckbots. Next we see one of the Duckbots break Spider-Man Noirs arm. Ok shouldn't have joked about these guys earlier cause it seems like they could kick anyones ass and destroy the world. Anyways we see the Web-Warriors Spider-Ham save the day by creating a tornado to throw them back in their world. Again I'm surprised that Spider-Punk hasn't suddenly webed him up and taken him to some place just for saving the day. Also note to self if Spider-Ham came into my house and ate my food and then blogged about it I'd just let him do it cause I wouldn't want that shit to happen to me. This issue ends with Spider-Ham getting crushed by giant robots that we see fighting each other. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. So are we basically gonna get new issues where a bunch of crazy shit happens in them from now on? Things I learned from this issue. Spider-Punk likes to web people up after they save him or save the day so just avoid saving him or anyone else on his earth.

Review: Deathstroke #13

This issue opens up with Catwoman, Harley Quinn and Deathstroke kicking ass. Basically we get a shit ton of fight scenes in the first half of the issue. Note to self if you ever break into some place or fight a bunch of people make sure you have Catwoman, Harley Quinn and Deathstroke cause they kick ass and will get you out alive. Anyways Pruitt uses one of the gaurds radios to tell everyone not to go in the room where him and Amanda Waller are or he'll kill her. I think everyone is stupid cause they all decided to go straight for that room. We see Harley Quinn and Deathstroke go to the room that Pruitt and Amanda Waller are in and Harley Quinn tells Deathstroke that she lied to him. Bad move Harley now he has no reason to keep you alive. Phew those guys blowing a whole in the wall just saved Harley Quinns life... shit now pruitt has her. Oh good she saved herself and escaped :). Next we get a fight scene between Deathstroke and Pruitt. Next we see some gaurds come and interrupt the fight thus giving Deathstroke thd chance to escape. I hope Deathstroke has a rematch with Pruitt cause I want to see Deathstroke kick his ass. This issue ends with us seeing where Rose is and meeting a shadowy figure. Artwork was really good. Story wise pretty interesting. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I wonder who that shadowy figure is. Things I learned from this issue. I wish I could read Harley Quinns mind. Things I want to learn from this issue. Who took Rose Wilson from her place?

Review: The Violent #4

This issue opens up with Mason sitting on a toilet. Next we see him try to cut his friends arm off but fail and throw a fit breaking the bathroom mirror. I think this is a sign that you shouldn't have killed him in the first place Mason. Anyways Debbie comes to get her stuff while Mason is trying to dispose of Dylans body. We see Becky get questioned by Detective McPherson. And this kids is why you don't do drugs or make friends with drug dealers. We see Mason leave to pick Becky up from the hospital. While in the car she tells him what happened at the hospital. See kids if you do drugs then the cops will question you. Next we see Becky talking to her mom on the phone who apperently fucked some dude while Beckys daughter was in the house. Hopefully the baby was asleep during all that if not she's gonna have a messed up childhood. We see Debbie go back to Dylans house where she finds Dylan dead in the bathtub. Stupid Mason you should've known that fat trailer trash would be back and just deposed of Dylans body before you went and picked up Becky. Also she sure has good taste in friends. I mean who wouldn't want a friend who treats you like shit and puts you down. Also why didn't she take all her shit right as she left his ass that ond day? Like did she think she needed them there just in case she ran out of clothes or got all hers stolen. Also why isn't his house locked up? Like why didn't Mason lock it up before so that she wouldn't have barged in earlier? And why didn't he take Dylans keys and lock up the place before he went to pick Becky up? I mean unless he did and the fat bitch just broke the door down with all her weight. This issue ends with Mason pulling up to Dylans house to find cops and lots of people there. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good even though Mason made a shit ton of mistakes. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. So how's Mason gonna screw up in the last issue? Things I learned from this issue. Don't hire Mason to kill someone and depose of their body cause he'll just fail at it and you'll have a shit ton of problems on your hand.

Review: New Suicide Squad #20

This issue opens up with the suicide squad coming up with a plan and then acting on it. Basically we get a few panels of the suicide squad kicking ass and killing a lot of fist of cain members. Note to self never fight the suicide squad. I mean unless you want to end up dead then ya go ahead and fight them to the death. We find out that some chick named rose tattoo got summoned and apparently kills anyone who utters her name? Note to self utter yhis chicks name to see if she comes anx kills me. Yes you read that right I'm gonna utter her name and see if she'll kill me. If she tries and I somehow survive then I'll know that I got lucky. Next we see Amanda Waller, Hunky punk and Captain Boomerang flying to the castle and Hunky punk explaining how he wanted to be a hero at some point... doesn't seem like it man cause if you really did you wouldn't have became a villain. Anyways next we see Seraphine kill somd guy who was trying to kill Harley Quinn then say some crazy shit and aim her gun at Harley Quinn. Ya Cheetah and Chato just saved Harley Quinn :). We see Amanda Waller save Deadshot and Deadshot introduce her to Deathtrap who tases her. Wait why'd he tase her? Also for Amanda Waller being such a badass it sure took her a long time to see that shit coming a mile away. This issue ends with Deathtrap shooting Deadshot in the head. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good can't wait to see how things go in the next issue. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I now see why they call Deathtrap Deathtrap. Things I learned from this issue. Never utter the name rose tattoo unless you want some devil bitch to come and kill you.

Review: Scarlet Witch #6

This issue opens up with Scarlet Witch taking down a street gang by making them fall asleep. Huh what'd I miss? Sorry guess that fight scene put me to sleep to cause of how boring it is. We learn that paris has a hero named Le Faucon who can fly. So basically he's like that Angel dude and the current Captain America who used to be the falcon. I wonder how many heros in the marvel universe have wings. Anyways we find out that Le Faucon isn't being much of a superhero anymore after his wife died anf even thinks of killing himself. Well he should've studied up on being a superhero before he came one cause if he had he'd know that if you become a superhero anyone you love ends up dying. So basically don't become a superhero or do become a superhero and not love anyone. Scarlet Witch summons his wifes spirit which causes him to try and jump off the roof they're on. Wow someone helps him and he instantly thinks hey they're being nice and helping me time to go kill myself. Not the best way to show your thanks man which makes me not like you. So basically I find you lame is what I'm saying. This issue ends with him finally listening to his wife and getting his powers back and flying off into the sunset. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise eh could've been better. I give this issue a 7 out of 10. Note to self never help out Le Faucon cause if you help him he'll try to kill himself. Things I learned from this issue. His wife must've been driving naked since her spirit was naked. I mean normally ghost are wearing the clothes they died in so I'm guessing she was wearing nothing when she was driving and that's probably what caused the other car to hit her.

Review: Midnighter #12

This issue opens up with a shit load of fighting. I know you're gonna expect me to go over different parts and add my funny thoughts but I really couldn't pull that off with this book cause it's got nothing that'd role with something funny added so yes this'll be a short review. Anyways a lot of the fight scenes were cool such as Apollo vs The Unified who got his ass fried. The fight with Amanda Waller and Henry Bendix just shows that she can kick ass just as much as the suicide squad can. The Midnighter vs The Unified fight was probably the best cause he used acting helpless to his advantage. Note to self if you fight Midnighter and he's getting his ass kicked but is still standing or pulling punches then that probably means that you'll get your ass kicked. The ending was pretty good to got to see Midnighter with all his friends and got to see him and a certain someone get back together. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Yes this series has ended which means no more reviews for it. But hey you should definitely pick up the volumes snd read them. And I know some people might br like but he's gay. So what if he's gay? He's still human like you and cool. Things I learned from this issue. Amanda Waller will kick your ass if you trick her or betray her.

Interview #31 With Cayti B

So a few months back I did an Interview with the writer for the comic book Paradox Girl. Hope you enjoy and check out her work :).

1: What got you into comics?

Cayti B: I grew up with the Xmen and Batman/Superman cartoons.  I was surrounded by friends who were super into comic books and would share the stories with me or try to make me sit down and read the Infinity Gauntlet or Maximum Carnage or the Dark Phoneix Saga.  I never really got into comics myself until my twenties when I read Four Women by Sam Keith and later Preacher.  I'm definitely more in love with the culture of comic books than I am comics themselves.

2: How'd you come up with the idea for Paradox Girl?

Cayti B: It's a bit of a long story.  At it's most basic, Paradox Girl is based off a lot of the internal angst I went through in my twenties.  I'd come up with a character who lived in constant discord and conflict with herself.  It was pretty terrible, but from that came the concept of a living Paradox, someone without a past and with an infinite future of hers all wanting to mess with her.   From a more philosophical stand point:  If you go back and change your past, it changes who you are, and the new you just has a different set of regrets.

3: How long do you plan to make this series? Like how much of the story do you have mapped out?

Cayti B: I have about 18 or so Issues planned for the moment, and might take it as far as 24.  I'm a firm believer that stories (and characters especially) need endings and some sense of closure.   One of my biggest pet peeves about comics in general is that we have these long living iconic characters and keep putting them through hardship for our entertainment.

As far as the scope of Paradox Girl's story, that's difficult to answer.  Issues are all self contained and tell an individual, complete, and (hopefully) satisfying story.  There aren't arcs in a traditional sense, because by her very nature there's no direct continuity to her actions.  Future issues will parallel events of early issues or even contradict them, creating all new paradoxes.  Thematically PG will struggle with her timelessness, the inevitability of loss, and the concept of identity.

4: When did Paradox Girl first debute?

Cayti B: PG's first issue came out in January of 2015.  'A Day in the Life of a Paradox' showcases some of the innovative storytelling and the wackiness of the main character.

5: Do you have any other works besides Paradox Girl or is it your first?

Cayti B: I'm working on another title now called LEGND, which we're hoping to provide a teaser for soon.  My first comic was called Heaven, but it didn't get published.  Maybe once PG meets more success I'll find an artist who wants to work with me to make it happen.

6: What is your favorite thing about writing Paradox Girl?

Cayti B: I only get to pick one?  I think messing with the medium and getting meta by violating panel and page borders.  The character herself is wacky and it's great fun to get up to all the hijinx and making sure it still works, but telling a story by using the medium for more than just pictures on a page is a great challenge.

7: What advice could you give to someone who wants to start their own comic?

Cayti B: Write and share stories with the people closest to you.  You'll get better at writing stories, you'll get a sense for which of your ideas have traction with others and which don't, and importantly you'll BE writing.  What makes you a comic writer isn't that you're working for DC or Marvel or even published, it's that you're writing comics.    When it comes to getting the attention of a publisher, I have been told that it helps to have an artist already ready to work with you.  This can be tricky, but keep at it.  It's been 10 years since I wrote my first comic.

8: How long does it take you to come up with the story?

Cayti B: For the first issue it was something that came to me while I was trying to sleep.  Bits and pieces kept putting themselves together in my head till I just had to get up and write it.  Took me a couple of days to get all the time jumps consistent and make sure the story made sense.  I have a document with lots of my issue ideas for future issues and I add to it from time to time.  When it's time to sit down and write they're usually knocked out in a day, maybe two.

9: Would you ever want Paradox Girl to become a tv show?

Cayti B: SO SO much.  We had great voice work from Janna Polzin for the kickstarter video.   She did an amazing job with it.  I'd love to have an animated cartoon of PG's antics.  If they ever do live action of PG, I hope Gillian Jacobs would be available, she'd be perfect!

10: What genre would label your comic book as?

Cayti B: Time Travel Comedy.  It's a superhero comic, but really most of the time is spent on the time travel antics.  Vanquishing villains is the B story in most of the issues.

11: If you could date any comic book character who would you date and why?

Cayti B: Definitely Rorschach, so that after our first date I can look at him and beg for a second date.  Then he can look down at me and whisper 'no'.

12: Where can people find you and your comic on the internet?

Cayti B: I hang out on Twitch a lot (user Unweaver), frequently on twitch.tv/absnerdity .  He's trying to beat all SNES games, and its a nostalgia fest that  I ABSolutely love.
The comic can be found at www.paradoxgirl.com, or our (recently funded, woo hoo!) Kickstarter at http://kck.st/1H9ONG3

Review: Daredevil #4

This issue opens up with Daredevil beating the crap out of some guys who have a bomb in an apartment complex. We also find out that he's doing this all for old Steve Rogers... wait he's still alive? I thought he was dead. No I'm being serious that's what I told my friend. Why can't all these superheros die off and get replaced by new ones? I mean I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that. Though don't kill Spider-Gwen cause she's new and awesome and very pretty. Anyways next we see Samuel Chung walk in on his mom kissing Tenfingers. Don't you hate when you walk in on your mom kissing the guy that you don't like. You know I agree with Samuel what is the point of Tenfingers church? Like sure he makes some claims that the others do but all the others don't ask for your fingers. Like hell if my church started asking for my fingers I'd up and leave. I'm thinking Samuels mom has just been sleeping with Tenfingers so she can move up in his ranks and get more fingers... again why would anyone want more then five fingers on each hand. We see Daredevil stop the bomb from going off. Well more so he made one of the bad guys do it since he's blind and couldn't see how much time it had left or which wires to cut. This issue ends with some monsters like person attacking Tenfingers church. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Now I feel stupid for telling my friend that Steve Rogers died cause now I just got proved wrong. Things I learned from this issue. Even though Daredevil is blind he can still defuse a bomb with some help. Things I want to learn ftom this issue. How'd Daredevil cause people to forget who he was under the mask? Like is that a new power or did he do it during secret wars? I'm so confused. Guess I'll have to read the other volumes.

Review: Deathstroke #12

This issue opens up with Deathstroke and Manta fighting in the water. Well actually Deathstroke getting his ass kicked. Ok now Deathstrokes kicking ass. Note to self never fight Manta in water cause that's his turf which means he'll probably kick your ass or kill you. We go back a few hours where we see Slade Wilson talking to some mysterious person who's going to help him get his daughter. Anyways we continue to see Deathstroke and Manta fight till some gaurds come in and stop the fight. We see Harley Quinn and Deathstroke escape before they can get caught by gaurds. If I was there Harley Quinn I'd definitely bring you some cotton candy. We see Deathstroke and Harley Quinn kill some prison inmates till they get to Amanda Wallers office and find two dead body gaurds. Does Amanda Waller really need body gaurds? From what I've seen it seems like she can handle herself. We find out the guy who took Amanda Waller is Worm-Meat, Pruitt, Snakebite. Dam why's he got so many names? Like I only have one well plus my middle and last name but a lot of people just call me Brice since that's my name. We find out how Pruitt became Snakebite. Note to self if anyone offers me lots of money so they can use an experimental drug on me I think I'll tell them no cause I don't want to end up like this guy. Well shit Deathstroke you're out of luck cause it looks like some government forces showed up. This issue ends with us finding out that the person who's gonna help get Deathstroke get his daughter back is Catwoman. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good love seeing issues with Harley Quinn in it :). I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Wait why is someone at my house asking if I'll let them use an experimental drug on me for lots of money? Things I learned from this issue. Harley Quinn likes cotton candy. Also I totally want to go to a circus with Harley Quinn cause she seems like she'd be fun to be with at a circus :).

Review: All-New Wolverine #4

This issue opens up with the clones being creeped out just by being in Doctor Stranges house. I can understand why they'd be creeped out. I mean heck I'd be creeped out of furniture started winking at me. Doctor Strange uses some mystical item to look into the clones minds or something. Um that's not creepy at all. We learn that Gabby is pretty much the sweet and inocent one. We also learn that Laura is like her father but can actually control and channel her rage. I love how they throw out there how people aren't to happy with her taking the original Wolverines place. I'm not one of them. I actually think she's better and a lot cooler than him. Anyways Bellona shoots at the cabinet that keeps winking at her which unleashes a giant that starts to rampage through the city. Note to self if furniture winks at you don't shoot it unless you want to unleash a giant monster in a city. Dam see why I like Laura she killed that giant monster which makes her badass. Zelda gets injured while fighting the monster and we see Doctor Strange take her to a hospital where he finds out that she's got lots small things in her brain that he can't use magic on and can't get out with operation. This issue ends with Doctor Strange teloporting Laura and her clones to Ant Mans lab so she can steal his suit so she can go inside Zelda and fight all the small stuff in her. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I know how it feels to have inanimate objects wink at you or just look at me. I mean heck my bed calls me dirty names all the time. Things I learned from this issue. Don't wink at Bellona unless you want to be shot.

Review: Batman Beyond #6

This issue opens up Bunny Man fighting a bunch of robots. I don't care if he's Batman as long as he's in that robotic suit I'm going to call him Bunny Man cause that robotic suit looks nothing like a bat suit or bat armor. We finally find out that this building has a teleportation booth or whatever that can teloport people to the teleportation booth on the justice leagues satellite which is why Tim Drake went there. Next we see Inque and Micron come to help Barbara Gordon and Bunny Man. Eye still think they're losing. Anyways Bunny Man uses the teleportation booth to teloport to the justice leagues satellite. Next we see Bunny Man and Brother Eye fight. Eye really enjoyed this fight scene. After Brother Eye and Bunny Man beat each other pretty bad we see Tim Drake use his secret weapon which is Inque. Eye have to say I find Inque to be pretty hot. We see Inque kill Brother Eye which kills all his robots. Note to self never fight with Inque cause she can kick your ass or kill you if she gets lucky. Darn that sucks Inque died while killing Brother Eye. This issue ends with Tim Drake and Deanna teloporting back to earth and Deanna telling Tim Drake it's his fault that her mother died. Which is true. Read the issue and you'll see how true it is. Also Eye think they finally won. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good ending to the first arc. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. So are you ready to bash your head into a wall after seeing me write Eye instead of I? Things I learned from this issue. Eye actually don't remember what eye learned from this issue.

Review: The Amazing Spider-Man #3

This issue opens up with us meeting the leader of the zodiac name Scorpio. He looks like he could kick anyones ass in a fight. Next we see that Peter Parker bought the baxter building which pisses Jonny Storm off.  Next we get a lot of pages of Jonny Storm and Spider-Man fighting in the baxter building. Um if he's so pissed that Peter bought it and fixed it up then why is he going in and destroying it again. Like heck if I loved a place as much as Jonny Storm I wouldn't go in and destroy it I'd just yell at whoever bought it. I mean unless he wants to destroy it so he can buy it from Peter and fix it up then go ahead and destroy it. Next we see s.h.i.e.l.d and the zodiac fight. Note to self never hire s.h.i.e.l.d to save the world or any kind of place cause they suck. After Jonny Storm and Spider-Man fight we learn that Harry Osborn is Peters best friend and runs the place when he's not there. Um Peter you sure that's a good idea? I get the feeling that something bad will come of that. This issue ends with us meeting a bandaged face man named Mr. Osborn. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I'm guessing that the Mr. Osborn is Norman Osborn. Things I learned from this issue. s.h.i.e.l.d sucks when it comes to fighting bad guys.

Review: Deathstroke #11

This issue opens up with Deathstroke in the sky heading straight for belle reve. I wonder if he'll do some cool moves on the way down. Next we see a few hours ago where Slade is training and then learns that Amanda Waller had his daughter abducted. What the hell Amanda Waller? I thought you were a good guy not a bad guy. Note to self never work for Amanda Waller cause if you ever leave her then she'll abduct your loved ones to try and get you back. We go back to the now and see Deathstroke use some weapon that disables all their technology. See if it were superman in this situation he'd probably just destroy everything or let it shoot at him since he wouldn't be smart enough to disable all the technology. Anyways we see all the prisoners get let out of their cells once everything is down. Um why not just stick to using keys so shit like this doesn't happen? I mean I'm sure our prison systems already uses technology to lock their cells which is stupid cause if something like this happens then all the prisoners get let lose and can attack you. Next we see Deathstroke find Harley Quinn who tells him that if he kills Amanda Waller that she'll take him straight to his daughter. I know she knows where your daughter is Slade but please don't hurt her to get the information. Next we see some hooded prisoner named Pruitt kill both of Amanda Wallers gaurds and then take her. Next we get a fight scene between Deathstroke and Deadshot. My moneys on Deathstroke. Dam looks like it's a draw for now but I bet next time Deathstroke will kick his ass so hard and win. This issue ends with Manta taking Deathstroke underwater. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. No Manta Deathstroke does not want to be part of your world. Things I learned from this issue. Our prison systems should just go back to unlocking everyones cells by using keys instead of technology cause if the power goes out in that place then their shit out of luck when those cells open up.

Review: Spider-Gwen #5

This issue opens up with Captain Stacy drinking in a bar while looking at some files on the Spider-Woman case. I have to say the drink that the bartender is trying to get him to try sounds odd but good so I'm thinking I'll have to try it sometime in the future. Next we see Matt Murdock practicing fighting moves while on some bridge. I really hate this earths Matt Murdock. Wait Captain Stacy why are you calling Matt Murdock? Bad idea dude hang up and lose his number. Heck you should've just ripped up his card in the first place. Next we see Captain America and Detective Dewolff have a talk about Frank Castle. Wait Tony Stark is the owner of a coffee shop or shops. I have to say that's funny. Even thr name is funny. Hi welcome to Stark Bucks what can I make for you today? Um yes I'd like to get the I'm totally not Iron Man coffe today. I bet you he even hss one named after him kinda like the flash does in the flash tv show. Next we see Captain Stacy meet Matt Murdock on a roof top where they basically get in each others throats and try to get in each others head. Note to self never meet this Matt Murdock anywhere. Basically Mat Murdock tells Captain Stacy that he knows thag his daughter is Spider-Woman. Well duh I thought you said that in that one issue but maybe you didn't say it exactly like that. Next we see some ninjas attack Frank Castle and Matt Murdock give Captain Stacy the choice to choose weather he lives or die. Well finally you make a decision Captain Stacy. Have I mentioned how much I hate this earths version of Matt Murdock. Basically I hate him so much I want to kick him off that roof and watch him go splat. This issue ends with Captain America going to the store where Spider-Gwen and Harry Osborn are fighting and getting in a fight with lizard harry osborn. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good even though we didn't get to see Spider-Gwen I still think it was good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I can't wait to see how this arc ends. Things I learned from this issue. That this earths Matt Murdock is pretty much the devil in every way and deserves to get kicked in the teeth.

Review: All-New Wolverine #3

This issue opens up with Wolverine and Taskmaster fighting. Haha oh wow sorry that was funny. He says he can predict every move she makes and adapt to it yet when she kicks at him and he catches her foot he didn't predict that the blade was hidden there so that had to hurt like a bitch. I have to say I like this version of Wolverine better than the other one. And no not just because she's a girl but also cause she's a badass and seems even better than him. Now I totally want her and Spider-Gwen to team up at some point but I highly doubt that'll happen. Anyways after Laura kicks Taskmasters ass we find out that yhe three clones are still alive. I love the whole talk on why they can't kill the people that came after them and why Laura will draw the line their but not when cutting off limbs. Gabbys reaction to the guy needing his fingers to play piano is very funny. You'll have to read this issue to understand why. Next we see Laura and the three clones drive off and then get another fight scene where Laura kicks ass again. Guess Captain Mooney is going for third times the charm cause I'm sure he'll be back again and get his ass kicked again. Later on we learn that all three clones are dying. This issue ends with Laura and the three clones going to Doctor Stranges house for help. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good have to say it starts off slow but picks up. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. So I wonder if Doctor Strange will actually be able to save the three clones from dying. Things I learned from this issue. If you ever get in a fight with Taskmaster just put a hidden blade if your shoe or shoes so that when he grabs one he will be in for a very painful surprise.

Review: Snow Fall #2

This issue opens up with the inspector meeting with a bunch of Inquisitors and telling them what happened at the new mercy resettlement. I don't know what it is but I found this half of the book boring just like in the first issue where I found the college speech or whatever boring. We see Anthony Farrow wake up in some weird room where it's snowing and where some creepy little girl lives. Well this part has me interested. We also get to see the white wizard fight the inspector and her gaurds. Ugh why do you have to talk like a sicincetest while you fight? That's not interesting to me that just makes me want to fall asleep so if you're trying to make md fall asleep so I miss this whole fight scene then good job. Wait did he really lose that fight? Like just hearing how dangerous and badass he was made it seem like he'd win. But he didn't so this makes him seem less badass and dangerous. This issue ends with Anthony Farrow waking up with a bunch of gaurds surrounding him. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise eh the sicincetific talk just bores me and makes me want to sleep till that whole talk is over. I give this issue a 8 out of 10. Hopefully this series picks up in issues three and four cause if not then I'll probably take this series off my hold. Things I learned from this issue. All that talk about the white wizard being dangerous and such a badass is just bullshit cause he got his ass kicked in that last fight scene.

Review: The Violent #3

This issue opens up with Mason patching himself up and then driving to work. Once Mason gets to work we see Detective McPherson ask him to take a ride with him... that definitely can't be a good thing. Ok guess it was cause he just found his wife in the hospital. I wonder how pissed she'll be when she hears how badly he screwed up. Next we see Detective McPherson go to Joels apartment where we see his dog eating his dead body and then being taken away by some people. What I get from this next scene is that the cops probably think that Becky killed him and let his dog out so it could eat him and ruin any evidence. Next we see Mason have a bear with Dylan and tell him what happened when his daughter was born. I don't see how he can hang around Dylan I mean in a way it's kinda his fault that Mason and Becky can't see their daughter but it's also Masons cause he didn't just tell his friend to screw off like I finally did wigh my own friend. Yay Becky got to see her daughter though Beckys mom wasn't very nice though I do understand why Beckys mom thinks that but she still shouldn't say all that stuff in front of Becky and Masons daughter and definitely shouldn't smoke when she's with her. Kinda reminds me of my friend and how his stupid girlfriend smokes in the car while the babies in the car. This issue ends with Mason killing Dylan after he decides not to take the money that Mason offers him so he'll keep his mouth shut about what happened at Joels apartment. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise sad. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. In a way I think it's a good and bad thing that Mason killed Dylan cause yes he won't go to yhe cops now but now things are gonna get worse once the cops find out that Dylan is dead unless Mason has a plan for that. But in no way am I saying you should do any of this stuff. Things I learned from this issue. Knives can kill people to cause Mason killed Dylan with a knife so it's not just guns that kill people.

Review: Silk #6

This issue opens up with Silk and Mockingbird in some room with a closed door. Note to self never put Cindy in a room with a closed door. Next Silk tells Mockingbird what she did after Black Cat cured her. Is it me or does it seem like Mr. Jameson likes her and Silk more than he liked Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Just makes me wonder how many issues it'll be before he calls Silk and menace and treats Cindy like crap unless he's had a change of heart over the years. By the way hasn't he been alive for a pretty long time? If so how has he not died from old age yet or is his time getting close? Silk then proceeds to tell Mockingbird how her and Black Cat burnt goblin nation to the ground. We get a fight scene and we also see Black Cat take away the goblin kings powers by curing him like she did Silk. Dam Silk has got some anger in her cause she just beat the shit out of Phil Urich and threw him off a very tall building. Good thing she didn't kill him but I bet that would hurt like a bitch for quite awhile. Next Mockingbird tells Silk that she needs to pull her off which makes Silk yell at her. Ok dam you can stay on just quit yelling at me. We also see Cindy Moon yell at her therapist when she tells Cindy that she has some anger issues. You know she kinda has a point Cindy but I'll shut my mouth before you come yelling at me. This issue ends with Cindy Moon going to some club and dancing. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Totally can't wait to read the Spider Women event but first I have to catch up on Spider-Gwen which is probably my favorite series out of all ghe marvel comics I read :). Things I learned from this issue. Don't tell Cindy Moon that she has anger issues which she does because if you tell her that she does then she'll just yell at you and prove your point.

Review: Supernatural Season 11 Episode 19 ( The Chitters )

This episode opens up with two brothers going fishing and one talking about how him and some boy kissed. We find oug the one who kissed a boy is named Jesse and his brothers name is Matty. Next we see Matty get taken by some creature. Note to self never go fishing in a small town unless you want some creature to take you. Next we see Dean still studying. I have a feeling that almost every episode from now on is gonna open with them studying. Next we see Sam and Dean go to the small town where Jesses brother got taken years ago. Dean interviews some chick who tells him about the junkless creature she saw. Note to self avoid junkless creatures if you ever run into one. Later on Dean runs into some people in the woods with green eyes and gets saved by Jesse and his boyfriend or husband. Jesse and his boyfriend tell Sam and Dean that the creatures are called bisan and that they mate every twenty seven years. Sam and Jesse go interview some old sheriff who tells them where the bisans den is while Dean and Jesses boyfriend actually find the den. Sam and Jesse go to where Dean and Jesses boyfriend are and burn all the bisan. We get to see Jesse find his brother dead body and burn it. This episode ends with Sam and Dean driving out of the small town. Episode was pretty good and also confusing. I give this episode a 10 out of 10. Remember bad things tend to happen a lot in small towns such as creatures taking kids and killing them or creatures doing what they did in this episode. Things I learned from this episode. Sleeping is the new smoking... sorry I meant sitting is the new smoking.

Review: Gwenpool Holiday Special #1

This issue opens up with She-Hulk giving a present to her friend. I thought this comic was about Gwenpool so where's Gwenpool at? We also see She-Hulks friend give her a hyperfile. Later on we see a party start and we learn that the owner of the building is going to sell it which I guess upsets She-Hulk. Um you do realize that if someone needs to sell something to make money so ghey can survive then it’s probably best that they do that. Anyways next we see a story about Kamala which I found boring cause there was still no Gwenpool in it. Then we got to see She-Hulk invite a bunch of superheros to the holiday party to try and convince Sharon not to sell the building. Next we get to see a Deadpool christmas story which was funny and learn that he's not invited to any She-Hulk parties after what he's done to the place. Well a party without Deadpool is no party I want to go to so I think I'll make a note to avoid any She-Hulk parties in the future. Next we actually get to see a Gwenpool story where she fights a giant snake man with two swords and blows him up instead of actually getting in a sword fight with him. Note to self if I ever need someone killed just hire Gwenpool cause she'll get the job done. Plus she's pretty so why not. Next we see Gwenpool go to the She-Hulk party. Note to self go to She-Hulk parties if either Deadpool or Gwenpool are there. This issue ends with Sharon ripping up the papers and not selling the building and the party still goes on after she rips up the papers. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good even though we didn't get to see Gwenpool till the end. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. So since Sharon didn't sell the building is she gonna be able to survive without any money? Things I learned from this issue. Gwenpool needs her own movie. I mean heck if Deadpool can get his own then Gwenpool should have her own to :).

Review: Black Road #1

This issue opens up with our main character burying his dead wife. Next we see our main character in some town where we see a bunch of priest converting people to the church. We see our main character get asked if he'll escort a cardinal on the black road to some place in the north. I have a feeling that the black road isn't the safest road to travel on. We learn that our main characters name is Magnus. Later on we see Magnus and the cardinal going across the black road. Just hearing Magnus talk about the black road would make me want to avoid it. We see Magnus and the cardinal talk about baptism. The next morning we see Magnus get in a fight with a bunch of men who kill the cardinal. Yep definitely knew the black road wasn't a happy place. Note to self never go on the black road cause it's not a happy place. Next we see Magnus get knocked out and someone with a red hood drag him somewhere. We find out that the person wearing the red hood is a girl named Julia and that the cardinal was her adopted father. She doesn't seem like much of a guardian angel I mean heck she didn't save her father so why'd he call her his gaurdin angel? This issue ends with Julia telling Magnus that she wants him to take her where her father was going. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty interesting. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Why does she still want to travel on the black road even knowing that it's dangerous and not a happy place to travel on? Things I learned from this issue. Avoid the black road unless you want to die.

Review: Black Magick #5

This issue opens up with Rowan having dinner with her partner and his pregnant wife. She's still hot when pregnant though she's not as sexy as Rowan. We see Rowans partner and his wife argue about what gender the baby will be. Um didn't you guys go in for an ultrasound to see what gender it is or are you those type of people who like to guess the gender of the baby? Like if so how does that work when you do go in for an ultrasound to see how the baby is doing? Ok so would you guys like to know the gender of your baby now? No we're just gonna let it surprise us when it comes out so no need for that doctor. Anyways next we see the fight between Alex and whatever that creature is that came out of the water. Note to self never hang around water cause chances are some evil chick monster will come out and attack you and then take you back where it came from. Next we see Rowan go to Alexs house and save her from the evil chick monster. Dam Rowan is sexy when fighting. Actually she's sexy all the time :). This issue ends with us meeting some chick with glowing eyes and a bunch of monsters sitting at a table. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good loved the ending to this arc. Can't wait to read more though hopefully I don't have to wait long for the next issue. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. So who's that chick at the end of this issue? Things I learned from this issue. Rowan sure knows how to handle herself and is sexy while she does it :).

Review: Hellchild #1

This issue opens up with some chick killing people and drinking their blood. I used to date a chick who'd drink her own blood... you may think I'm kidding but I'm not. Anyways we go back a few hours earlier where we see Liesel Van Helsing and Hades fighting vampires. See even the right girl can make a bad boy go good even if they are the ruler of the underworld. Ok even if these vampires are juiced up on something shouldn't a god be able to take them out? Like how come Hades is so weak in this story? Anyways after they fight with vampires we see Liesel and Hades go back to his place where we see Liesel shower and then things go bump in the night. If you have no clue what that means then here's one you should understand. The bed was rocking in the night. After Liesel and Hades have sex we see Liesel take something that belonged to his daughter. Later on we learn that she took this item so her friend could use dark and give Hades a chance to see his daughter again and say goodbye to her. I'm guessing Liesel never went to don't raise the dead or bother the dead 101. Like even I know that's stupid to mess with the dead and then if you do shit tends to hit the fan. Next we see Liesel and her friend go in some basement dungeon area where the get in a fight with witches who are trying to raise some dead chick. Ugh is everyone in this issue stupid? We see Hades wake up from a bad dream which his daughter was in. Note to self if you have a bad dream with a loved one in it and their dead then chances are someone is gonna bring them back to life which will end badly. And if they're alive then that means they'll die soon. So basically if you wake up from a dream like this rush your ass where they are or where your stupid lover is so you can stop bad stuff from happening. This issue ends with Hades daughter coming back to life. Read the first of the issue to see shit hit the fan. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good other then half the people were stupid and trying to raise the dead. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Hi class welcome to don't raise or bother the dead 101. Take notes cause this will be important. DON'T RAISE OR BOTHER THE DEAD EVEN IF YOU'RE DOING IT FOR A LOVED ONE CAUSE IF YOU DO SHIT WILL HIT THE FAN AND PEOPLE WILL DIE. Ok class hopefully you got that if so that's all for today so bye. Things I learned from this issue. Avoid stupid people who want to raise the dead or try and talk to a dead person.

Review: Rough Riders #1

This issue opens up with people in a building. Fires nice people but please stop lighting the work place on fire. Next we see a guy save a bunch of people in the fire. Also in the process he lost his blimp or whatever you call it and some little girl fell through the wet roof and died. Note to self when putting out a fire atop a building make sure to get everyone off quickly as soon as you wet it down with water unless you did it so you could watch people run and fall through the roof while laughing at them. Next we find out that the guy who saved everyone is Theodore Roosevelt... he saved everyone except the little girl who fell through the wet roof. Next we see Theodore Roosevelt meet with the four horsemen. It took me awhile to figure out that all of them are famous fot something and have their name on something or in something. To figure out who they are read this issue fot yourself. We see Theodore Roosevelt get in a fight with a boxer and win. Note to self never fight Theodore Roosevelt cause you'll probably lose. This issue ends with some guy doing magic tricks. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty interesting didn’t know what to expect but so far I like it. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. So are we gonna see a lot of magic happen in the next issue? Things I learned from this issue. Don't go to work and light the building on fire. I don't think the other workers would like you to much if you went to work and lit the place on fire.
