Review: Children Of Eldair #4

Well this chapter didn't open up on a good note. Was that Flesh Eater showing Embera visions? And if so if what and why? I hope things get better for Embera in the future.

Dam Kian has fire powers on his side. Also note to self Flesh Eaters hate fire. Either that or it kills them but I'll make a mental note of it to be safe.

We learn that elves go through some sort of ceremony that allows them to store the energy of Amara in their hair which is where they get their power from. Well I'm growing my hair out which means I'll be able to store lots of energy in it and have lots of power right?

I loved reading the pages about the Goddess and  Princess Hamaras dream. This chapter ends with the gang getting close to Nuam La. Artwork was amazing. As for the story it was scary and then really intriguing. I feel like I learned alot more about this series and the world their in without being bored to death. I have to say that with each chapter I'm liking this series more and more. I give this chapter a 10 out of 10. Want to read this series? Then go to www.eldair.com I suggest buying a copy of Volume 1 and 2. Trust me it won't bore you to death. In fact it'll make you want to grow your hair out, pack a bag and go to Eldair yourself :).

Favorite Page: That page where Embera was in a dark world or something. The colors on that page stuck out to me oddly enough.

Things I learned from this chapter. That I definitely want to grow out my hair even more so that when I go to Eldair I can go through with the ceremony and store energy in my hair :).

Review: Darth Vader #20

This issue opens up with Vader in one of the giant ships that the Empire has. Sadly I don't remember the names of the ships.

Next Vader has a long boring meeting with Emperor Palpatine. No seriously it was boring. Not that interesting in my opinion. I started falling asleep till I just decided to skip past it.

Oh look it's Inspector Thanoth. I have a feeling that he'll die in this issue. Wait he's basically letting Vader kill him? I don't think you see that everyday. Also no Inspector Thanoth Anakin is not his name anymore. His name is Darth Vader and will always be Darth Vader cause Darth Vader is way cooler than Anakin.

This issue ends with Triple-Zero and BT-1 being sent after Doctor Aphra. Is she finally gonna die in the next issue? If she doesn't die in the next issue I'll burn whatever copies I have of her series. I really don't like her anymore. Artwork was great. As for the story. For me it felt boring and slow. I thought it'd be interesting like the last few issues I read but nah. Reading this issue was like trying to talk to my crazy ex. All you do is get told to kill yourself and then get ignored. I give this issue a 6 out of 10.

Favorite Page: That page where Vader kills Inspector Thanoth. I mean come on even though Inspector Thanoth let him kill him it was still epic.

Things I learned from this issue. That Emperor Palpatine is a dick and definitely got what was coming to him. Like hearing the way he talked to Vader made me want to force choke him slowly.

Review: Redd Velvette #2

This issue opens up with Lass falling in the mud. I think Lass did that on purpose so her and Redd could have some fun.

See told you they're definitely having fun. The scenes with these two are just cute. I wouldn't complain if we got to see an issue just about them.

Oh no not Ramson again. I don't like him. Your probably thinking no duh that's how it should be. Haha Bill just lost whatever he ate after seeing what Redd did to Ramson.

Dam that storm is beautiful looking. I'd take pictures of it but where as I'm trying to keep the pictures friendly I wasn't able to get a shot of it without getting a nude Lass and Redd in the photo. Anyways we see what the storm does one the island as well on Ramson's ship. Poor Bill Demona just fried you like a bucket of KFC. Dammit now I want KFC.

This issue ends with Ramson's ship getting destroyed and his princess saving his life. Haha no Ramson you are not amazing. Artwork was amazing. I mean of Course it was. As was the story it was both funny and cute. I highly suggest getting this series in print form or by going to https://www.comixology.com/Redd-Velvette/comics-series/71104 hopefully I got the correct info in there for you guys. I give this issue a 10 out of 10.

Favorite Page: Would have to be that page where Captain Demona destroys Ramson's ship. Like dam I would not want to fuck with her ever.

Things I learned from this issue. Not to kiss Captain Demona unless you want to be fried like a bucket of KFC.

Review: Outcast #22

This issue opens up with Sidney telling Scott and Caleb to go look for Brian. Man I thought that maybe half the town or all of it was just demons but I guess I was wrong.

Oh look Kyle and Reverend Anderson finally found Brian. Oh just knock him out of carry him to the barn. There was no need to tie him up and gag him unless you guys were gonna do some kinky shit to him. Hell you wouldn't have to worry about him making any noises either.

Haha those guys just got attacked by that wolf. Oh shut up with your religious bable Reverend. Like seriously he's starting to annoy the hell out of me. If he gets more annoying in the future I'll start docking numbers whenever he's in an issue. I mean am I the only one that finds Reverend Anderson to be annoying?

This issue ends with Kyle beating the demon out of Brian. Kyle I know it isn't ideal and would be stupid of you to do that every time but I suggest beating the shit out of everyone else who is possed cause that seems to be the quickest way to get them out. If you find a faster and less violent way then go that route but until then just beat them up. Artwork was good. As for the story cold, violent and funny but really good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10.

Favorite Page: Brian vs the wolf. Made me laugh. Like was he really gonna try and fight that thing? Sadly he's not Liam Neeson.

Things I learned from this issue. That if I ever get possed and Kyle beats the shit out of me and fucks up my face like he did to Brian then I better say thank you.

Review: The Batman Who Laughs #1

This issue opens up with Batmans happiest memory. Mine sadly is when I first realized that I loved my ex. I need a new one though.

Is Batman really fighting guys on moving houses? I had to laugh when I heard what the Batman insurance policies were called. Like really?

Oh look it's a dead Bruce Wayne. No not this Bruce a different Bruce. Does your head hurt yet. Also why is everything that Batman has called a bat something? I get he's Batman but why put bat before everything you have? I highly doubt the other superheros do that.

Next we see Batman kill a bunch of guards and Joker at Arkham Asylum. Wait it was really Hell Raiser.... Sorry I meant Batman Who Laughs.

This issue ends with the real joker dying in the Bat cave and Batman getting infected with his super toxin. So is Joker gonna stay dead this time? Artwork was pretty good. I still don't like the feel of the new paper that DC Comics puts in their books. The story wasn't to bad. I think I like Hell Raiser.... Sorry Batman Who Laughs. I give this issue a 10 out of 10.

Favorite Page: Definitely that last one. Why you ask? Well cause it made me laugh to :).

Things I learned from this issue. That Batman is pretty fucking scary when he kills people. I say make a horror movie about Batman finally snapping and killing people. Or just do one about Batman Who laughs. Either one would be good.

Review: Spider-Man/Deadpool #18

This issue opens up with Mephisto telling the readers how Spider-Man soul will burn. No Mephisto making him kill won't make his soul burn. Letting him get back together with Mary Jane after you bring Gwen back to life would be the way to go.

Next we see Spider-Man and Deadpool still fighting. I think this issue came out when superheros fought each other for some reason so it makes sense why Deadpool and Spider-Man are fighting.

Dam Spider-Man isn't holding back on Itsy Bitsy. Spider-Man the only way you'll kill Itsy Bitsy is if Doc Ock takes control of your body again. Oh looks like he's not anywhere in sight so I highly dou- well fuck he just killed her. Ok I guess I was wrong.

Wait it was really just Deadpool using and image inducer. Phew for a minute there I thought Spider-Man became a badass without being the Supieror Spider-Man. Um Spider-Man I don't think eating that much ice cream is a good idea. And thanks now I want ice cream. This issue ends with a certain Spider not being dead. Dam I thought they actually killed her. Hopefully she'll come back in the future. She was weird and creepy yet cool :). Artwork was great. As for the story it was action packed but also had meaning to it so I give this issue a 10 out of 10.

Favorite page: Ok I know some of these will more so be panels but I ain't changing the name if I keep this in future post. But my favorite page was when Spider-Man and Deadpool hugged. It made me smile and laugh ;).

Things I learned from this issue. Not to piss off Spider-Man. He gets murderous if you piss him off enough.

Review: Shelter Division #1

This issue opens up with some guy in a suit jumping through a window. Next time you corner someone Chaplin make sure there are no windows in the room.

Next we get to some big guy attack two agents and a sasquatch. I really have no clue what he is but it looks like he took down the big guy.

We see Chaplin stop the guy in the suit.... Well for a short while to he vanished. Dude you work with a sasquatch how could someone vanishing in front of you be weird?

Well that scene was not fun to read. That guy just died by being crushed in a garbage truck. Note to self don't piss off the garbage man.

Later Chaplin goes to a strip club where the girls got turned to stone. Well that doesn't sound like a good strip club to go to. Anyways we get introduced to Gayle Gallagher who has people trying to kidnap  her.

Well that's a scary ending. You want to see what happens go pick up this issue. Just go to www.sourcepointpress.com artwork was good. As for the story not bad. I'm curious to find out more about this world. Hopefully I'll like it as much as I like Salvagers. I mean heck Bob Salley is writing this so I have a feeling I'll like it. So far I don't have a favorite character though maybe after issue two I will. I give this issue a 10 out of 10.

Favorite page: Would have to be the one with the science nerd or whoever. He kept referencing comics and old movies which made me grin.

Things I learned from this issue. To avoid a any strip club named Black Cat. I'd rather see actual girls not ones made of stone.
