Review: Hitlist #4

This issue opens up with Thorne telling the two chicks from the first issue about his first kill. Well his dad was a piece of shit that's for sure. Hell if I had kids I'd never put them through that. Next we Rain go in an elevator and creepy guy get in the elevator with her. Creepy guy ask Rain if she wants to smoke some weed in his room. Note to self if anyone ask me to smoke pot with them tell them no and run like hell cause they'll probably try to kill me. Well looks like they won't be smoking any pot together cause she just killed him. Next we see Aron ask his son what team he picked in the game he's playing. Shaun tells him and he tells him five more minutes then to turn it off. Next we see some guys with mask go in and shoot up Arons place. Note to self don't kill people for a living even if they're bad. Next we see Rain go to a strip club and find the blond girl from the first issue with a bruis on her face. Wait why is she meeting with the bad guys. Oh good she's killing the. The owner of the place I'm guessing shoots Rain in the shoulder. Next we see Aron with a gun pointed at Codys head asking her why she sent those masked guys to her place. Dude you're dumb if you think she did that. This issue ends with Aron opening his revealing one of the masked guys who attacked his house. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 9 out of 10. Note to self never work in a butcher shop it seems like a lot of bad stuff goes down there.

Review: Spider-Woman #1

This issue opens up with Jessica Drew looking at flames and telling us how she never wanted to have a kid. Most girls nowadays are baby crazy. Ask my friend apperently two girls begged him to help them create one so he did. Next we see some guy in a porcupine costume beating the crap out of some villans. What kinda hero wears a porcupine costume? If you ask me that's dumb. I have a feeling at some point they'll kill him. Though they'd probably bring him like do every so often. We see six months ago when Jessica Drew put her motorcycle in storage. That's a nice motorcycle. Wait who knocked Jessica Drew up in the first place? Next we see three months ago when porcupine costume guy fought tiger shark and pretty much got his ass kicked. Note to self never have this guy on my side if I get in a fight cause he sucks. Next we see Jessica Drew go to a maternity leave party. They have parties for those? While at the maternity leave party Iron Man ask Jessica who the father is and gets zaped. Note to self don't ask Jessica Drew who the babies father is even if you really want to know or you'll get zapped. Next we see all the days of her maternity leave. Yay it's Gwen Stacy from Spider-Gwen. Next we see the maternity leave day when Jessica Drew decides to go to the hospital that Captain Marvel told her about. This issue ends with someone getting shot in the head at the hospital. Note to self never go to this hospital. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I'm thinking about adding this to my pull so if you guys see another review for this series on here you'll know I added it to my pull. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. So really who is the babies father. No I'm sorry please don't zap me Jessica Drew!

Review: Starve #2

This issue opens up with Roman talking to someone on the phone and getting pissed that Gavin in still on the show. Well it's more interesting than the other cooking shows they have on tv nowadays. Like I would totally watch this if it was on tv. Next we see Gavin and Sheldon go drink for a bit then eat. At the restaurant Gavin meets an old friend named Dina Stern who lets him cook himself and everyone else a steak in the restaurant. Well at least he doesn't have to worry about anyone spitting or peeing in his food. I hear burger king has a lot of employees who do that so I probably won't go there ever again. Anyways next Gavin thinks to himself that he's happy that Sheldon is the only one who knows that he cooked the steak and loves seeing the smile on his face. I think Gavin is falling for Sheldon. Sheldon gets a call and tells Gavin that Starve has already started and if he doesn't get there soon he'll get kicked off the show. Yep I already hate Roman. Gavin gets to Starve in time to find out what the first challenge is. Produce and cook your own bluefin. Is bluefin really a fish? Gavin goes back to Dina Stern to get the bluefin from her but also gets offered a job if he quits the show. Gavin gets a text from his daughter Angie which changes his mind about the job offer. Next we see Gavin cutting up the bluefin and taking a bite of raw bluefin. See you don't see people do that on cooking shows nowadays. It'd be pretty interesting and funny to see. Next we see Gavin call time and serve his bluefin to the judges. One of the judges loves it so much that she cries. She tells Gavin that she hasn't tasted bluefin like this since the ban came into place. Gavin makes them ashamed which causes them to spit out the bluefin. This issue ends with Gavin throwing up in the bathroom. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. Loved how he called them out on what they had planned. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Note to self never piss off Gavin Cruikshank.

Review: Venom Space Knight #1

This issue opens up with Venom going out a window with an alien falling with him. Well the guy who's after Venom probably broke several bones after that fall and having Venom land on top of him. Note to self never get in a fight with Venom or I'll have several broken bones. Anyways next we see Venom heading to his ship that blows up before he can get inside it and retrieve the information on the drive that he got from the guy who fell out the window with him. Next we see Venom crash through another window just to use a business computer so he can get all the information off the drive. Well as long as it's in the name of justice you can break anything or into anything and not get in trouble. Venom learns that a pirate named Kio has the stuff he's looking for but his ship has already begun to take off. Next we see people shooting at Venom as he swings his way onto Kios ship. I have to say that Venom still looks cool even though he's not evil anymore. Venom gets inside Kios ship and meets a robot that wants to die. Wait really? Well this is a new one. The robot leads Venom to the yt-19 which is just some aliens. Venom keeps himself from getting mad so the symbiote doesn't feed off it. Note to self the Venom symbiote is cool but I don't want to have it on me cause I don't want it to feed off me. Next we see Venom punch some of Kios men. Kio uses a sonic gun on Venom that takes the symbiote off Flash Thompson leaving him without any legs. Well he's dead. Ok looks like he was smart and opened the airlocks sending everyone out giving him a chance to get his Symbiote back. Next we see a were-fish eat Kio. What in the hell are were-fish? Next we see Venom take the aliens back to planet uuex where he finally learns what agent of the cosmos means. This issue ends with Venom flying his ship into space only to come face to face with bigger ships. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. Hopefully it doesn't go bad. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I have a feeling those ships he ran into at the end of the issue are gonna cause some trouble for him.

Interview #28 With Felipe Cagno

So last year I did an Interview with the creator of 321 fast comics. Here it is hope you enjoy :).

1: What got you into comics?

Felipe Cagno: It wasn't as much what as it was who. My dad has always been a big fan of comic books, especially the Disney ones from back in the 60s and he was the one that got me into comics as a fan and avid reader.

I pursued a career in film since I graduated high school and it's always been my main goal. However, one of my film scripts, "The Lost Kids: Seeking Samarkand", caught the attention of two producers I interned for but both said it would be impossible to bring it to the big screen without a source material first. They suggested adapting the script into a graphic novel.

So that's how I professionally got me into comics.

2: What got you into writing? What made you decide to start writing?

Felipe Cagno: I think that much like an artist is born with a pencil in hand drawing, I've always wrote stories, whether it was fan fiction, short tales or just going the extra mile at school. Since I was never good at drawing or painting, writing was the outlet I found myself capable of exercising my need of storytelling. Even then, when I went to film school, I wanted to be a director more than a writer.

But in order to be able to direct, I needed to write my own stuff, it was a pretty quick sidestep to writing more and directing less in the long run.

3: How'dyou come up with the idea for 321 fast comics volume 1?

Felipe Cagno: I was driving home from my first comic con as a professional in Brazil and it was a 5 hour drive or something. All I could think of was that I wanted to do another comic quick instead of spending north of three years like it happened with the Lost Kids. I decided to do an anthology involving several artists working simultaneously to cut production time.

With that decision behind me, it was time to figure out what would link all the stories together. Rather than doing a one genre anthology, like horror or sci-fi, I went with the storytelling form instead to free my creativity. I had done a camera exercise at film school called "321" where we had to shoot a short film with 3 pages, 2 characters and 1 location.

I adapted the format to comic books since the location wasn't an issue and to better myself as a writer, I set myself the challenge of ending every story with a twist.

4: How many volumes do you have planed for 321 fast comics?

Felipe Cagno: Number 2 is already in the works and has been fully funded in Brazil. It will be digitally released in English on Comixology in the Fall and possibly in the Spring '16 after another Kickstarter campaign.

I have a volume 3 planned to close down a trilogy and that's it.

5: What is your favorite thing about writing this series?

Felipe Cagno: The freedom to jump genres. I love writing outside my comfort zone and doing comedy or sci-fi or even horror are very challenging for me, that's definitely my favorite thing about the series, learning new genres.

6: Do you have a favorite story from 321 fast comics?

Felipe Cagno: Not really a favorite story, but there is one that's very personal. The Pandas' story is actually biographical, lol, so that one has a special place in my heart as it features a characterization of myself and my fianceé.

7: What advice could you give to someone who wants to write a comic?

Felipe Cagno: Study it up, learn the craft. I always tell people that writing is exactly like any other profession. Without proper training, you won't be very good at it, it might look easier because it's something we start doing as a child, but the truth of the matter is, if you want to be a professional writer, you need to study, read books about it, go to school.

There aren't really shortcuts in life, even if you're naturally pretty talented, you will need proper guidance to hone those skills.

8: Do you consider yourself to be famous? If not would you like to be famous why or why not?

Felipe Cagno: No, not at all. I'm still very much beginning to build a following, especially in the US, in Brazil I already have a good fan base but that is also still growing and being nurtured with care. The only reason someone might want to be famous is to make things easier for the next book.

Whether we like it or not, this is a business, and a tough one to break in at that. Not as much as being famous help, but having people follow your work, that's imperative.

9: If you could be any character in any comic series who would you want to be and why?

Felipe Cagno: Tough one.... Batman is definitely my favorite character in comics but I wouldn't like to have my parents murdered to become him, lol.

10: Where can people find you on the internet?

Felipe Cagno: They can find me on Facebook and are welcome to do so, just put in my full name in there. I also have Twitter and Instagram, both @felipe_cagno.

Review: Harley Quinn & Power Girl #1

This issue opens up with Harley Quinn and Power Girl coming through a teleportation ring and landing on a moon. Yes I decided to read this miny series first then continue the regular Harley Quinn series. Anyways Harley Quinn ends up barfing on an alien bug. Note to self never go through a teleportation ring after you eat. Next Harley Quinn and Power Girl meet an alien named Sleezox who is a mix between Yoda and that creature in the lord of the ring movies who always has a dipper on. Harley Quinn and Power Girl make him mad enough to unleash his creature on them which eats Power Girl. Rest in- ok she's not dead she just tore herself out of one. Harley goes to the creepy aliens hut and gets some weapons on her arms that she uses against the multi-headed monster. After Harley defeats the monster she shoots Power Girl and sends her flying into a giant robot head. We see the giant robot head scan Harley and Power Girl granting them access inside the love nest. Oh that bed right there is where all the love happens oh and so is that kitchen over there might want to wipe the counters down before you eat something off of it. Harley Quinn guesses the right cologne that is in the ship which is also Vartoxs favorite. Next we see Vartox in some machine while some guy tells him his evil plans. Why do villans always do that when they have a hero hostage. Here let me tell you my master plan and how I'm going to achieve it cause I assume you'll either die from me telling you or die sometime after I tell you. I don't know right now all I know is I'm to lazy to just kill you so I'll tell you everything. The ship starts to take Harley Quinn and Power Girl to Vartox but ends up getting shot down. Next Harley and Power Girl meet some guy that ends up getting his head shot of by Harley. See why I'd want her on my side in a fight. We meet some guy named Groovicus Mellow who knows Power Girl.  This issue ends with the forces of Oreth Odeoxs forces attacking Harley Quinn and Power Girl. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I hope that guy who was a mix between Yoda and the creature who always wears a dipper in the lord of the rings died cause he was ugly and I'd hate to see his face in future issues.

Review: Starve #1

This issue opens up with a drunk man yelling something and getting yelled at by his friends telling him that his accent sucks. Would everyone just shut up and stop yelling at each other! Next Gavin Cruikshank tells us about the stuff he drinks, smokes and eats. Oh great now I feel like I'm watching one of those cooking shows. Next some guy calls Gavin telling him that the network is basically fucked. So pretty much how the world will be in the next five years or so. And don't give me that crap that if we elect a better president that it'll make life better. Next we see some guy get out of a plane and have Gavin sign a book that he wrote. So basically people in the future will waste a lot of gas for stupid shit. Note never become one of those people ever. The guy who had Gavin sign his book puts him on a plane to newark so he can film eight more episodes of his show starve. Wait so this book is basically like a cooking show mixed with the hunger games. I've never seen hunger games but I heard it's bad and kinda like twighlight in the drama aspect. Next we see Gavin go to his wifes home and find his daughter Angie when he knocks on the door. Dang she's pretty. We meet Gavins wife who seems like she stuck her head way to far up her ass. Yes Gavin came out of the closet but he gave you pretty much everything so be happy. Next we meet Angies godfather Roman who got a restraining order from Angies mom. I take it he did something stupid and evil. This issue ends with Gavin on his cooking show eating raw dog meat. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise ok I've got the second issue so if I don't like that one I won't buy the first volume when it comes out. I give this issue a 8 out of 10. I think I just barfed in my mouth a little when Gavin ate the raw dog meat.

Review: Harley Quinn #12

This issue opens up with Harley Quinn and Power Girl running towards clock king and sports master. Sports master needs a better name. Like clock king I like but not sports master. Next we see clock king use his teleportation ring to send them to a different planet. Oh cool a giant dog. We meet Queen Eidijamon who has a lot of racks that guys would love to play with if they had the chance. Power Girl tells the Queen who her and Harley Quinn are. We see the queen ask her accountant if Power Girls claims are true. Next we see the accountant explain that Power Girl is a hero but Harley Quinn i- well he didn't get to finish what he was saying cause Harley Quinn just blew him to pieces. The queen gets mad that Harley killed her lover. Wait he was her lover? I guess that makes sense. Power Girl and Harley Quinn run away but then Power Girl notices that their weapons don't effect her and start kicking their asses. Next we see the giant dog get unleashed and sit on Harley. Bad dog! Get off Harley Quinn this instance! Wait he talks? Dam wish my dog could do that. We find out that the giant dog is the queens husband and is named Arthur. Note to self never make a giant dog mad cause he just ate his wife. Anyways we see Power Girl and Harley Quinn having a meal with Arthur and asking him if he can get them home. Arthur tells them that the ruler of all the planets has a teleportation ring that can take them back home and that his name is Manos. If that name sounds familiar go read a marvel book to understand why it sounds familiar. Next we see Harley Quinn and Power Girl in a space ship talking about Manos and what the plan is for getting the ring from him. Oh hey a giant talking pizza in space. Now I'm craving pizza. Power Girl gets in a fight with the giant pizza and Harley kills him. Note to self when fighting anyone always have Harley Quinn on my side cause she's beautiful and kicks ass. Next we meet Manos. When I saw Manos I had a little laugh to myself. Manos uses a cosmic organ to destroy an entire planet which makes Power Girl very angry.  Next we see Manos die. Yep Harley killed him to. If you haven't noticed she's pretty good at that. Manos forty-five children tell Harley and Power Girl that the ring they are looking for is on Manoses pinky toe and that they can use it to get home if Harley gives them the rings she stole from Manos and used on him to kill him. Next we see Harley Quinn and Power Girl come through the teleportation ring that sports master and clock king are holding in the same place as they were when Harley Quinn and Power Girl first went through. This issue ends with Power Girl and Harley Quinn getting sent through the teleportation ring again only to come out again but in different clothes and talking about someone named Vartox and Power Girl saying it was the longest two weeks of her life. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Harley Quinn is so cute even when she kills people.

Review: Spider Island #3

This issue opens up with Vision getting Spider-Man and Stegron out of the spider queens prime research lab while Venom stays behind. Next we see Spider-Man and Venom in the base talking about his secret identity. Venom ask Spider-Man to look over Tony and Stegrons work. Note to self never let crazy people work on stuff for you. Heck one of my friends is crazy and was gonna work on stuff for my family but never did. Next we see Spider-Man making more lizard formula. Vision and Venom tell Spider-Man that they found Mary Jane, Betty Brant, Sharon Carter, and Charlie Cooper and that they're under the queens control. Well no shit almost everyone is including Mr. Jameson. Which is funny that he's a spider. Venom, Spider-Man, Vision and The Iron Goblin save the girls and turn them into lizards. Wait why were they so important in the first place? I take it that they're all girls Peter Parker used to date. Note to self get bit by a radioactive spider so I can become Spider-Man and get all the girls. Vision finds bombs that are also trackers on the girls and deactivates them before they blow up. Well at least they didn't blow up but now they've got giant-man who is now a giant spider and other spider people attacking them from all sides. This issue ends with The Iron Goblin flying towards giant-man laughing. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I think The Iron Goblin needs to become a new villain in the marvel universe and get his own series.

Review: Black Magick #1

This issue opens up with a wiccan ritual gathering. Looks like a fun place to be. Oh hey that lady just said Samhains name. I swear I've heard that name before. If I'm thinking correctly it was off an episode of supernatural. Next someones phone goes off while the rituals still going. Don't you hate when people do that at a gathering. Dude how'd that chick even have her phone on her? I mean they're all naked and wearing robes so do those robes have pockets? We see the leader I'm guessing tell the chick to go but to make sure she grounds herself. Next we see the chick go to a buger joint called the buddy burger. Dude that's an awesome motorbike. Also who names a buger joint buddy burger? Anyways we find out that the chick is a detective. Ok that makes sense why she had her phone on her at the wiccan ritual gathering. Also she's pretty hot. I'd totally date her if she was real. We find out that some guy has four hostages in the buddy burger. I'm guessing someone spit or pissed in his food. I hear burger king has a lot of people who do that. We find out the guy wants to talk to Detective Black alone. Detective Black goes in the burger joint alone and notices that the place smells like kerosene. I have a feeling someone is gonna get burned. The guy tells Detective Black to come to the back and take off all her clothes. After Detective Black takes off all her clothes the guy tells the cops that he'll release the hostages one by one and not to come an get them or he'll shoot Detective Black in the face. Dude why'd you have to smash her com? That was loud and hurt my ears jerk! The guy tells Rowan that he knows her real name. Wait what's her real name? I mean Rowan is a pretty name but what's her real name? Hopefully they tell us her real name before this arc ends. The guy tells Rowan that they told him her real name and that they're inside him and won't let him stop what he's doing. Next we see Rowan do a spell in her mind. Yes she's a witch and a hot one at that. Yep knew someone would get burned. Rowans spell made it so that when he dropped the lighter it burned him instead of her. This issue ends with Rowan calling someone named Alex and telling them it's starting again. Artwork was great. Story wise pretty intense can't wait to read issue two. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I sure hope this series is a long one.

Review: Colder #3 ( Toss The Bones )

This issue opens up with Declan and Reece running away from the table they were eating with pigeons following them. Something tells me the artist or writer likes pigeons. I mean every time I read an issue of colder there's a pigeon. Now I'm gonna have to look this up online to see if pigeons are common when going insane. Anyways Declan and Reece get in a taxi and get home. Wait why are those pigeons killing themselves? Note to self if I see a bunch of pigeons it means I've gone insane or am going insane. Declan and Reece get in their apartment and lock the door. I agree with Declan Reece. Even if you lock the door my ex will still get in. Next Declan and Reece notice that there's a new door where an outside wall should be. Well obviously that wall decided it was a door today so just roll with it guys. Next they hear the doors buzzer go off and knocking at the door. Would you pigeons quit repeating the sounds thst are happening. I'm sure Declan and Reece can hear just fine. Hey you guys gonna answer that? It's impolite not to answer the door... never mind I'll get it you asshats. Oh ok guess Nimble Jack let himself in. Next we see Nimble Jack go all over the room showing them a chair, window, kitchen. Ok I think they know what all that stuff looks like so will you please chill out and quit showing them stuff. Geez he's like a little kid who drank soda. And yes I've seen kids on soda my mom gives my sisters kids soda and they stay up all night and make a mess. Next we see Nimble Jack give Declan fingers. You know Declan when people do something nice for you you're supposed to say thank you and not just stand there looking at your fingers like a dear caught in the headlights. Note to self never be like Declan and Reece cause they're asshats. Next we see Nimble Jack take a shovel to Reece and Declan knocking them out. Nimble Jack finds a homeless guy in line to get food and takes him to a motorcycle and puts his head in the wheel. People are stupid these days. Like if some guy asked me to put my head in a motorcycles wheel I wouldn't. I'd run like some crazy killer was after me. The homeless guy ends up dying when Nimble Jack revs up the bike. He kinda got what he deserved. Next we see Nimble Jack go back to the hungry world and get killed by Reece with a shovel. Here I'll just take that away from you before you hurt anyone else. Though I do have to say she's still hot even when she's mad. Nimble Jack puts himself back together except for his head. This issue ends with Nimble Jack moving the comic page up and going back into the regular world. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Geez Reece and Declan are so mean I mean Nimble Jack was being nice and she tore him to pieces with the shovel.

Review: Extraordinary X-Men #1

This issue opens up with Storm talking to the ghost of Charles Xavier telling him what Scott did. Wait what'd he do? And asking him if what she's doing is right. So I take it I'm gonna have to go to google to figure out what Scott did. Iceman comes in and tells Storm she needs to get out there and ask her who she's talking to. *pulls covers up* I see dead people. Anyways Iceman tells Storm that Magik has run into trouble rescuing a mutant. I take it people still hate mutants. Kinda like how a lot of stupid people hate the gays these days. Magik saves a little girl and her parents before they get shot down by the Indian military. Note to self never become a mutant or gay cause people will hate you for the stupidest reasons. Magik takes the little girl and her parents to x-haven. Next we see Jean Grey in a college class. After she gets out of the class Iceman and Storm come to tell her what's going on and try to convince her to join them back at x-haven. Next we see Magik go to her brothers place. Her and her brother have a chat. Wait Why's she swinging her sword at him? Oh good she wasn't trying to kill him. For a minute there I thought she was gonna kill him. Next we see Nightcrawler being chased by bad guys and kicking their ass. Dude what's wrong with that chicks mouth. If you ask me I'd be scared of that mutant for sure. Jean tells Storm that she wants to live her life and doesn't want to go to x-haven. This issue ends with some old guy with claws attacking a robot. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I'm actually thinking of adding this to my hold. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Remember don't become a mutant. Well if you're already a mutant guess your screwed.
