Review: The Harvester #1

This issue opens up with some cop pulling up to a bar to investigate the place about a noise complaint only to drive off once he sees a bunch of motorcycles and a guy sitting on one leaving... what the fuck dude?! That's your job protect and serve asshat. We learn that this group of bikers is called the blackbeards. I take it the leader really loves blackbeard. We see one of the bikers complain about needing to go home. Well shouldn't have joined a biker gang then idiot. One of the bikers sees a guy just sitting casually and drinking a drink. What was he not there before or something? I don’t think he called the cops.. not that they'd help anyway. One of the bikers goes to attack him but freezes when the guy starts talking to him. For bikers they sure dcare easy over things that humans tend to do. Like hey you guys speak to do you not? Next we see the guy who was smoking outside get thrown the window and then his bike right after him. Next some creepy looking guy comes crashing through the window. Cue fight scene in bar. Well that was fast he just killed them all. Well at least he didn't kill the guy who was probably a regular coming to get drunk off his ass kinda like a friend I have. He drinks every night. Um why is creepy dude lying in the grass? Probably not the best time to tan dude. Next we see some chick on a stage talking about creepy dude. Also known as the harvester. So basically she's the whack job which means people don't believe her stories till they actually happen. After that they're like well fuck better believe anything she says now. We find out that the chicks name is Vicki. We see her go to a bar where some journalist/detective ask to talk to her about the urban legend of the harvester. Wait she doesn't believe in the urban legend? Why does she stand on a stage and talk to people about it then if she doesn't believe it? This issue ends with the journalist/detective telling her that the urban legend is true. Artwork was good. Story wise eh. I give this issue a 8 out of 10. I wonder how long it'll take them to make a movie for this series if they haven't. Things I learned from this issue. The blackbeards are scared of normal people doing normal human things.

Review: Harley Quinn & Power Girl #2

This issue opens up with Power Girl going and fighting the people in the sky while Harley Quinn takes all the other people to safety or tries to find a safe place. We see Harley Quinn and the people go in or under some statue where they run into a robot named Killy Mchappy-Bot 2.0. Who in the heck gave that thing it's name? Makes it sound like your going to McDonalds just to have some robot with a smiley face kill you after you order something or right as you walk in the place. Harley Quinn ask all the people if they have a museum of weapons of the past or something since they're a peaceful race now that doesn't have weapons. Well no wonder they became slaves so fast. Next we see Harley Quinn and the people run towards the museum while the killer McDonalds robot chases after them. Oh look Power Girl is still fighting the people in the sky... well now she just got knocked out. We see Harley and the hippie or peace people go into the museum where Harley finds some gloves that let her make a hammer with her imagination out of hard light. Well dam Harley Quinn coupd quit the life of crime to become an artist cause she just turned the McDonalds killer robot into a robotic beaver that looks like her beaver... no not that beaver you pervert. Next we see a bunch of girls and one guy save Power Girl. Oh look Harley Quinn is coming to save Power Girl from the girls and one guy. Power Girl tells Harley Quinn to stop hurting them cause they're friends. We find out that they're Vartoxs ex-girlfriend force. This issue ends with Oreth making it so that Vartox will serve him. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I love the entrance Harley Quinn made on the motorcycle. Love seeing her happy. Also why was there one guy in the ex-girlfriend force? I'm guessing Vartox got really drunk with this guy one niggt and they thought each other was a girl or something and made love till the morning after. Or just experimented to see what it felt like to sleep with the same sex till the morning after. Things I learned from this issue. Harley Quinn is good at making art and I want her to make me a giant robotic beaver now... and no not that kind of beaver pervert.

Review: Shutter #2

This issue opens up with Kates cat clock thing making her cookies and then finds out she's not there... is it me or is that cat dumb? Like normal people would think to check and make sure said person is there before just baking cookies out of the blue expecting the person to just poof and show up. We see a battle going on outside with some blob thing and police in flying saucers. I take it that in this book when the ailens landed humans disected them all and stole their spaceships for their own purposes. We see that the blob thing has Kate in a crystal with mice trying to read her thoughts or something. Damit Cinderella why'd you let your mice lose? We see a gang of lions board the blob and help Kate get out of the crystal... also in the future sciencetist have made it so lions walk on two legs snd talk. Kate shoots some gun that blast her out of the blob and onto one of the flying saucers. Show this whole fight scene to someone who's high and they'll probably think it's really happening. Next we see the lions in jail get killed by some dragon thing. Well except for the leader. Next we see Kate and her friend Alain at her apartment. This issue ends with a rocket heading straight at her apartment. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. So I wounder if Kates dad knew about her sister the whole time or not. Things I learned from this issue. Sciencetist are really fucked up in the future.

Review: Black Canary #1

This issue opens up with a news article about the black canary band and how they always seem to reck a venue. Note to self don't ever see this band in person even though the singer is pretty. We meet some of the band members. Ditto doesn't speak, Paloma seems kinda snotty and I don't remember the instrument she plays, Byron plays the drums. We also see Dinah help the manager I'm guessing get money from one of the venues they played at. But are you gonna use that money to help them fix the place? Next we see some people being creepers at the next venue the band goes to and pretty much spies on them looking for a certain member that'll attack violently if she sees them approaching. Well that narrows it down to the blond pretty singer. We see Ditto playing the guitar with no tools to help her amplify the sound. So she's basically got powers or something. How does Dinah not notice that? Anyways while the band plays Dinah sees some people that are actually monsters approaching the stage and proceeds to attack them. Geez I'd hate to be in this band with what they've done to every venue. Dinah uses her scream to make the roof collapses on the monsters. Wait they're not after Dinah... who are they after then? Ditto? Why Ditto though? This issue ends with Dinah saying she's gonna teach the band members how to fight. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. So why do people keep going to the black canary concerts after hearing what's gone on at all the others? Things I learned from this issue. If I join or make a band make sure Dinah is in it so the band and fans can be protected if something bad happens.

Review: Brandi Bare Field Trip #1

This issue opens up with Brandi and the girls looking at some view. This better not be an issue where Brandi and her friends become tree huggers cause if that happen I'll stop reading. We find out why Dylan is carrying all the bags. Note to self don't bet on stuff like Dylan or I'll end up like her in this issue. We see a flashback to when that creepy stalker lady at the college told Brandi she needed to live with no regrets and experiment over her four years in college. I'm sure every college student does that except for my dad. I also think the creepy stalker lady needs her own comic series. Yes she's old and creepy and stalks people but she's kinda hot so why not. Next we see Brandis dad call Dr. Dobbs and set up a date. So basically what this issue is telling me is that if Brandis dad can get a date so can I. Next we see Brandi and her friends trying to pitch a tent and them making jokes about Brandi and how she's good at pitching tents ;). Next we see Alice call Brandi and ask her what she wants done with her bare. I swear that bare makes faces in each issue. I have the feeling that there's gonna be a Halloween issue where the bare kills Brandis boyfriend and eats his insides. Yes I'd actually read that issue. We see Brandi and her friends get drunk and go skinny dipping. I'm sure a lot of geeks wish that this actually happened and that they were there to see everything. This issue ends with Xian screaming and Brandi waking up to see... really that's how it ends? Guess I'll have to back issue two of this series. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good though kids should not do what Brandi and her friends did at home. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I swear I'm gonna have a fear of teddy bears after reading this series. Things I learned from this issue when in college experiment ;).

Review: Plume Volume 1 ( Chapter #3 )

This issue opens up with Vesper looking at some ball called the powerstone which is made from the ashes of dead tribe members and gives the holder lots of strength. Wait wouldn't the holder also get ashes on themselves just by holding the powerstone? Anyways we see Vesper, Corrick and her dad go on a ride till trouble finds them. Wait why'd her dad bring her along if he knew there might be danger? I get that Corrick can protect her but he said if you went looking for danger his protection wouldn't work as well so isn't this kinda dumb of her dad to do? Next we see a bunch of bullets being shot everywhere. We get to meet a new character named Dominic. Quick question why does every bad guy have to have some sort of scare or something to make them bad? Anyways we see Dominic get a good shot at Corrick. Wait so can Corrick die by normal human things that tend to kill people? Cause so far it seems like that might be a yes. Well that sucks Dominic just killed Vespers dad. This issue ends with Vesper shooting some guy in the head. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good can't wait to read the next issue :). I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I wonder if Dominic was able to shoot Corrick cause he wasn't protecting Vesper at the time that he got shot. Things I learned from this issue don't piss Vesper off or she'll shoot you in the head.

Review: Supernatural Season 11 Episode 13 ( Love Hurts )

This episode opens up with us seeing a wife and her husband getting ready for a date on valentines day. Yay my favorite holiday. Sadly it's not cause to many girls have broken my heart including the current one I can't seem to fall out of love with. Next we get to meet the babysitter. Dang she's pretty kinda reminds me of a chick I used to know. Though it's rude that she rang the doorbell instead of knocking. Luckily the baby didn't wake up. A few minutes later we see the husband come home and rip the babysitters heart out. Well you can say that her love for him was so great that her heart leaped out of her chest. Next we see Sam reading the news article about the dead girl and Dean come into the room with a hickey on his neck. I remember one of my girlfriends asking me if I'd be alright with her giving me one. I told her heck no that if she did I'd be mad. We see Sam and Dean at the house talking to the husband and wife. If you ask me the husband seems like something is bothering him. Well looks like Sam and Dean saw it to cause Dean went to talk to the husband who was having an affair with the babysitter. The husband shows Dean the footage from the nanny cam which shows him ripping the babysitters heart out. We find out that it was actually a shifter instead of the husband. Next we see the dead babysitter come and kill the husband. I guess you could say his love for her was so great that his heart leaped out of his chest. Sam and Dean review the footage and think it was the wife who did. Well I'd say she was up to something where as she's getting rid of evidence that's stuff that you'd use in a spell. Note to self avoid people with that type of shit in their house cause then they'll probably put a spell on me. The wife gets attacked by her dead husband. We see the wife go to Sam and Dean and tell them about her hair dresser who calls herself the white witch. I would've gone with the dark witch cause that sounds pretty scary. Oh crap the husband is attacking the wife again but luckily Sam and Dean will kill it... um why aren't the silver bullets working? Dean kisses the wife so that it'll go after him now instead of the wife. Oh forgot to explain. So basically the witch with the boring name fave the wife a spell that had to be sealed with a kiss so basically whoever got kissed was the target and if they kissed someone else then the person they kissed was the target and so on. Sam and Dean go to the hair dressers salon where they find out that it's a monster who's kinda like a genie cause whoever has the heart controls what it does. Sam finds the heart and also gets attacked by the witch. We see Dean face off against the Amara. I mean the monster who's a genie. I have to say Amara is kinda pretty. The wife distracts the witch which gives Sam enough time to kill the lame witch and her monster genie. This episode ends with Dean telling Sam that the monster took on the form of Amara. Go see this episode to understand why. I give this episode a 10 out of 10. So when Amara says her and Dean will be one are they gonna fuse together and create a half man half woman person? If so that'll look weird. Things I learned from this episode  stop loving the girl I love so that my love for her won't become so strong that my hear wants to leap out of my chest or so I won't end up like Dean with his love for Amara.
