Review: Black Widow Strikes #1

This issue opens up with Black Widow pretending to be a stripper so she can get close to her target. Next we see her fail and get her target killed. You had one job. Shame on you. Next we see a fight break out. Black Widow goes to the roof to find some sort of flying machine under a plant so she can escape the club she's at. I'm kinda disappointed I thought of her as more badass then that. Next Black Widow becomes someone else again and goes to an apartment... oh sorry I'm just admiring the view on this next panel. Move along so I can enjoy it. Also to find out what I'm talking about read this issue for yourself. Next we see some guys come crashing through her hotel room bringing us another fight scene. Dam how can she kick so much ass here but not back at the club? We see Black Widow hang one of the guys from the balcony and ask him who he's working for. Hangman tells her that each one of them has a chip and to take it and contact the chick who sent them if they couldn't kill her. Black Widow uses the chip and we find out the chicks name is Sofia and that she wants Black Widow to work alone to even out the playing field. This issue ends with Black Widow taking Sofias challenge and going offline. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise eh she failed a mission. I give this issue a 8 out of 10. I bet Spider-Gwen kicks more ass then Black Widow. Things I learned from this issue. Black Widow isn't the badass I thought she was.

Review: Spider-Woman #3

This issue opens up with Spider-Woman pretending to be dead so she can get some surgeon from the skrulls. These bad guys should've taken notes before going up against Jessica Drew. Next we see Spider-Woman, her friend and the surgeon she just saved go in a crawl space and crawl to some room. Next we Spider-Woman go through a ton of different rooms just to find a doctor who's dead but head is in a jar... um didn't some tv show already take that idea? I'm sure they did but oh well. We see Spider-Woman go back to the room with all the pregnant ladies so she can get the flying doctor head to a computer. Well that's not good. Basically if the skrulls get the prince the hospital goes boom. I kinda have to agree with Jessica Drew on this one Carol. You saying sorry so many times would piss anyone off. Spider-Woman finds the prince and tells him to come hide with her. The prince and Spider-Woman come to a blast door that's close to being broken down. This issue ends with Jessica Drews water breaking as the skrulls break through the blast doors. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I still want to know who the father is. Are we gonna find out who the father is when she has the baby? Things I learned from this issue. Carol loves to say sorry a lot. And it's very annoying.

Review: Shutter #6

This issue opens up with Kate and the rest of the gang stopped at a lake. Well this is boring so lets go to Shaw and Ekland where they get a call from Kates sister I guess telling that she needs Kate and Chris alive but to kill her other sibling if they find them. Ekland goes in the music store where he gets after shaw for wanting to buy some music and shoots everyone and makes one guy shoot himself so it'll look like a murderer suicide. Note to self never go anywhere to buy anything with Ekland. Next we see Kate, Chris and alarm cat at a hotel. Well dang that was pretty fast Ekland and Shaw found them in like a blink of the eye. We see Kate run out with a gun and giant sword to fight Ekland as he rides a Triceratops. Um Kate might want to quit talking to Ekland about how yoy lured them there and shoot them both before Shaw reache- ok I take that back looks like Chris has it handled cause he just killed Shaw. We see Kate shoot Ekland and beats the crap out of him till she gets some answers. After Kate kills Ekland we see her drive to some cliff where she calls the phone that Ekland used to try and get some answers. Um Kate that's probably not a good idea. This issue ends with a giant dragon coming out of the sky. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Now I definitely want to buy the second volume at some point. Things I learned from this issue. Alarm Cat has a secret stash of candy that I want to try at some point. Yes the cars annoying but if he's got candy I'll take it.

Review: Daredevil #2

This issue opens up with both Tenfingers and Matt Murdock talking to a bunch of people in different places. I still don't understand why people join Tenfingers church. Next we see Samuel Chung also known as Blindspot helping some of Tenfingers men. I still have the feeling that he's gonna turn evil and beat ghe crap out of Daredevil. Samuel and his buddys find a way to make sure Billy Li won't testify. Go read the issue for yourself to find out what happens. Next we see Daredevil and Blindspot fighting each other. Geez come on Dare- ok his pep talked himself into doing better. Dam he just cut Blindspot and took out his power source. Wait Blindspot really has a twitter? I thought that'd be more of Tonys thing. Anyways next we see Daredevil and Blindspot go to Tenfingers place and see him shoot green energy out of his hands. We see Daredevil go down and tell Tenfingers to stop using his powers or the people he stole them from will come to get them back. This issue ends with a group of ninjas called the hand attacking Tenfingers place. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Seriously why join a church if you lose fingers after doing good stuff. Things I learned from this issue. Never steal something from someone cause they'll definitely find you and take it back.

Review: Shutter #5

This issue opens up ten years ago with a red monk shooting at Kates dad. I thought monks were supposed to be peaceful. We see Kate stop the monk from killing her dad. Note to self never fight Kate Kristopher cause chances are you'll end up dead. Next we see a few pages of Kate basically yelling at the nanny. Also never piss Kate off cause she'll swear like a sailor and there'll be none stop yelling along with it. We find out that Kates brothers name is Chris Kristopher. We see Kate and Chris watch a movie and talk. Why is the alarm cat still in the room? He's very annoying. We see the nanny go in the room where Kate and Chris are to find an empty room. Haha Kates smarter than you think you old hag. This issue ends with Kate telling Chris how she killed their dad. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. This series is beginning to bore me less and less. Things I learned from this issue. Avoid Kate Kristopher when she's angry unless you want to lose your hearing.

Review: Silk #3

This issue opens up with Spider-Man and Silk faking a fight for the news. Can we get a short issue with just that fight scene? Or like add it as a bonus in the next volume. Next we see Silk tell Spider-Man everything. I'm surprised Mokingbird didn't tell all the superheros hey just so you know Silk is pretending to be a bad guy for us. We see Silk turn on the news to see if her plan worked. Nope looks like it failed. This just in viewers. We get a first look at a new episode of animal planet. Will we see these two animals mate after they're done dancing? We see Silk tell Dr. Sinclair about her week. We also get to see Silk beat the crap out of some goblin nation kids by playing angry birds with them... no I'm being serious she really does play angry birds with them. Go read this issue and you'll know I'm telling the truth. Next we see Silk go back to the sewers with Shrike. I don't trust this guy. Silk and Shrike find a goblin nation training ground. So they're basically trying to make their own teenage mutant ninja turtles. This issue ends with Shrike pissing Silk right in the middle of the training ground and leaving her. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I knew Shrike wasn't trustworthy though figured that anyways since he's a villain. Things I learned from this issue. Silk and Spider-Man started in an episode of animal planet.

Review: Shutter #4

This issue opens up with us finding out how skeleton butler came to be. Note to self if an old lady ask for your help and says she'll curse you if you don't. You should probably help her so you don't become a skeleton butler. Kate Kristopher goes in the house to find the people who attacked her sitting in her living room. Well this but- wait they were just trying to protect her? Didn't seem that way to me. Next we meet Kates Nanny who tells her about how her and her dad first met and the adventures they had. Next we see Ekland and Shaw visit Mikey where Shaw loses the ability to speak. Note to self don't trust animals in an ally way cause this could happen to you. This issue ends with Kate meeting one of her siblings. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty interesting. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Wouldn't that be weird and disgusting to watch the skeleton butler eat food. Wait since he's pretty much dead does he really need food? I mean it's not like he can starve himself to the bone anymore. Heck he already worked himself to the bone. Things I learned from this issue. That clock cat thing would be really annoying to have. After awhile I'd probably shoot it just to get it to shut up.
