Review: Lock And Key #4 ( Welcome To Lovecraft )

This issue opens up with Bode having another nightmare about his dad... geez dude if you wanted to be close to your son by telling him knock knock jokes you should have done it while you were alive not dead. Plus your dead so stay dead, don't go invading peoples dreams that's hella creepy. Next we see Sam talking to some trucker about his life... not all of it though. We get to see that Sam was abused as a kid and thats what caused his problems and made him snap along with seeing a photo of some chick writing help in Bodes dads office when he was still alive and a therapist. See parents this is why you don't beat the shit out of your kids. Next we see Bode asking his family members what the knock knock joke meant. Which of course they all tell him it has no meaning. Actually it does... means your dad should stay dead and not invade your dreams in a creepy way or at all. This issue ends with Sam killing a whole bus of people. Artwork was pretty good. I give this issue a 8 out of 10. Remember don't have paintings of wells or the chick from the ring will write help and some crazy kid will murder you and go after your family.

Review: Outcast #1

So this issue opens up with a mom and her daughter fighting about her being fifteen and dating a 19 year old while her son just eats in the background. By the looks of this family I'm going to suspect that something is terribly wrong. See told you the son is eating his finger and saying he's still hungry. Which right away the mom thinks he's possed... um maybe he's not. Maybe he's just trying to get attention since it doesn't seem like you paid much attention to him or maybe he's actually hungry and you guys are really poor. I mean if my family was poor and I was really hungry I'd start eating myself to. Next we meet the reverend who is smoking and playing poker. Wait I thought holy men didn't gamble and play poker? I don't think it's a wise idea to have his try to get a demon out of your child. See he's unsuccessful and got you kicked in the face by your possed or hungry attention seeking son. Next we meet Kyle Barnes who basically sleeps in late and gets woken up by some lady who bangs on his door to get him up. Anyways she takes him into town which is where the reverend finds him and as if he'll help him get the deamon out of the hungry attention seeking kid. Kyle ends up helping him and gets called an outcast. Wait what does that mean now I need to read more to figure out why he got called that. Anyways Kyle does a better job of getting the deamon out of the hungry attention seeking kid. See knew the reverend wasn't a good choice. Also the cops don't arest Kyle cause the cop is good friends with the reverend and the mom is thankful for Kyles help. Really? I mean ya he got the deamon out but jn the process beat the crap out of your kid. I'm sure some people wish they could hit a kid and say that got a demon out of them just so they dont get in trouble. This issue ends with Kyle having a flashback. Artwork was really good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Remember if your family is extremely poor and has no food just eat yourself I mean your family will think your possed but hey at least you won't be hungry anymore.

Review: Widows Web #1

So in this issue we meet Tissa and Dahlia who work at a place called the bad barrel. We also meet a bunch of teens who try to fake their age just to get some bear. Which doesn't work... well no duh that crap normally never does unless you're smart about it. We also meet Pterra and his group of friends who take him to a bar so he can move on and find a new girl. Oh wow looks like him and Dahlia are giving each other googly eyes. Did I mention Dahlia is hot, yes I'd tap that. Our drunk teens go to a creepy amusement park. Well this isn't going to end well. We also meet an old soldier who now spends his time getting drunk. Well when I get old guess that's what I'll do except for the bar fight and hurting Dahlias new love interest. We also meet Roach the muscle of the bar. Wouldyou look at that our teens fell in the catacombs under the amusement park... see knew something bad would happen. This issue ends with the teens getting wrapped in Dahlias web. Artwork was amazing. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Remember if you ever want to get the girl get the shit beat out of you by the guy you're trying to save her from cause that will impress her I guess.

Review: Mad Max Fury Road Furiosa #1

So in this issue we see and old man telling people a story about Immortan and his daughters which he porks a lot... worst father award goes to Immortan. We see some creepy guy staring at some girls hoo ha. We also get to see Immortan getting ready before he bangs all of them.. well I'm scared for life now. He sends some chick named Bag of nails to protect them which she gets yelled at and asked if she enjoyed the night they all got banged. Um I highly doubt she did unless she's into that kind of stuff. We see some chick try to kill her baby. This issue ends with the girls escaping. Artwork was ok. I give this issue a 8 out of 10. I'll admit this book is dark in it's own twisted way.

Review: Hack Slash #1 ( Land Of Lost Toys )

So in this issue we meet Cassie and Vlad who hunt things called slashers. We also see some little ponies kill a little girl. Ha I knew it. I knew ponies were bad and just wanted to murder little kids. Next we meet Jason who runs a blog and his friend who just watches porn in his friends Landry room... well that's not gross at all. Anyways he tells Cassie and Vlad about a little kid who died in his sleep and now murders other kids in there sleep and that he's some kinda dream slasher. This sounds like the plot of nightmare on elem street. The only thing different is the kids not an old pedophile and didn't die in a fire, still pretty close if you ask me. One two Freddy's coming for you. This issue ends with Freddy killing Jason. I mean Ashley killing Jason. Artwork was pretty good. I give this issue a 9 out of 10. Remember if you watch a horror movie just copy the plot for your characters I'm sure no one will notice.

Review: Lock And Key #3 ( Welcome To Lovecraft )

This issue opens up with Kinsey walking to school or just walking somewhere. We see that she changes her hair style. Bode shows her the door that turns people into ghost and walks through it. Though of course she thinks he's faking. We also learn that Sam escaped juvenile detention. Well no duh that gaurds were pretty stupid. We also get to see that Kinsey is a fast runner but only because she has stufv to run from... actually running from stuff does not make you a fast runner. Like if you're fat and run from stuff... well lets be honest you'd probably run out of breath and whatever you were running from would get you. See what I'm getting at? This issue ends with Kinsey changing her hair again and deciding to run with the girl who wanted to run with her earlier. Remember if you have someone you're running from just get a gun and learn how to shoot so you can shoot the person if they're trying to kill you.

Review: Blackcross #2

So in this issue Rob Benton receives an exploding box in the mail. Wait what the hell are formic ethers? No I'm neing serious I have no clue what they are. Lady Satan gets a drink at a bar. Which the bar keeper should have known something was wrong since first she got there earlier then she normally does and second didn't know what her regular order was. Next Bart gets a call saying that Rob is in the hospital. Well no duh. You guys can't seem to do your job. We also get to see some lady doctor tell a lady cop when she's putting her tapon in... wait wtf? I know this chick is doctor but does she have to explain everything she's doing? Also is that really how chicks talk in the bathroom? Who thought this would be good to have in the comic in the first place? Like does she explain everything. Ok now I'm putting it inside me. This issue ends with an fbi agent or marshal getting in a car wreck and getting his eyes gouged out. Artwork was ok. I give this issue a 7 out of 10. Remember if you're a chick and going to put a tapon in just let everyone know. I'm sure they'll want to know that... not.
