Review: Spider-Man/Deadpool #6

This issue opens up with Deadpool walking his pet dragon I think. I'm not really sure what that thing is all I know is it takes human sized craps. The reason that guy has a boom box Deadpool is so that the plot for this issue would be introduced. Later we see Deadpool run into a stunt man on a glider. Note to self if you see a stunt man on a glider and he tells you to come to a movie being filmed about you run away cause he'll try to kill you later. Like seriously when the talked Deadpool into showing up I'm sure all the readers knew he was lying. Is Deadpool really that stupid or were the writers just making him that stupid this issue just so they could get all these jokes in this issue. The next few pages are them on the set of the movie and then them fighting the stunt man who said he wasn't a villain when all the readers knew and Deadpool didn't. Wait is that really how Spider-Man met the Green Goblin? Also that history about Spider-Man and Green Goblin never actually happened. There's no way Gwen Stacy slept with the Green Goblin and we all know it so don't try and fight me on it. The ending to this issue was actually pretty funny :). Artwork was good. The story was ok but not the best. Like I get it was a filler issue which they mentioned. And yes I see why they did the filler issue this way but I feel like it could've been better though I'm sure Ryan Reynolds loved it. I give this issue a 7 out of 10.

Things I learned from this issue. Don't trust stunt men. Want to know why just read this issue.

Review: Nvrlnd #1

This issue opens up with Peter Pan getting some action. Who does it on a pinball machine? I mean I guess that'd be interesting. Anyways next we see someone in the shadows offer Alexis better drugs than what Peter has. Um was he there the whole time just watching them pork? If he was that makes him hella creepy. Note to self next time you get some action make sure no one is in the shadows watching. Hooks stuff seems deadly not better just saying. Later on in the issue we get to meet Wendy and Tiger. Is that how all girls are when they meet another girl? Like yo Tiger get to know her before you judge her. I am surprised Wendy wasn't the mean one after hearing about the stuff she did. Hey ya that's a perfect idea there's a dangerous drug on the streets that is killing people young girls so instead of letting her have her cell phone back so she can get ahold of better if she gets into trouble you give her a pager? Does anyone else see a horrible death in her future cause that's what I see. So wait was Peter dating Tink when he slept with Alexis or did they start dating after? Never cheat people it's not a nice thing to do. Wait so Tiger and Wendy got in a little cat fight but now they're friends? I thought that was only a guy thing. I like tattoos and all but I don't think I'd ever get a tattoo from Hook. Also what's his and Peters history in this series I am definitely interested to see how they got to where they are. This issue ends with Hook being a creeper while he tattoos some chick. Artwork was good. As for the story it's ok and it's also not. Like I feel like they purposely made Wendys parents stupid. I give this issue a 5 out of 10.

Things I learned from this issue. If there's ever a dangerous drug on the streets or some killer on the lose. If your kid is grounded take their phone away and just give them a pager making it harder for them to contact you if they run into trouble. #parenting101

Review: The Unbelievable Gwenpool #13

This issue opens up with people telling ghost stories by a camp fire. Dam now I'm in the mood to go camping and make some smores. Anyways next we see Deadpool beating the crap out of Batroc. This whole fight scene between Deadpool and Gwenpools team goes on for almost all of the issue. It was actually pretty good. And yes he had quite a few word bubbles. Wait so since Deadpool was in this issue and people know him so well does that mean he helped her get noticed more? I mean he said he didn't know her and that he was basically more popular than her so then in a way he helped her out a bit. Man it was nice of Gwenpool to get Mega Tony that job at Parker Industries but now that Parker Industries is no more that means Mega Tony went back to his sad boring life. Note to self try not to have a sad and boring life like Mega Tony. Um why was Cecil running from the townsfolk? Did they actually have weapons that could hurt him or some way of capturing him? Artwork was good. The story was aight but not the best. Hopefully Gwenpool will grow on her own in the next issues. I give this issue a 6 out of 10.

Things I learned from this issue. If you die and come back as a ghost that people can see it's probably not the best idea to go say hi to a loved one unless you think you can take all the townsfolk that chase after you.

Review: Black Magick #6

This issue opens up twenty years in the past on Rowans thirteenth birthday which is also when witches go through the awakening process. At least that's what I assume since that's what I think we saw throughout this issue. Quick question what is the Rede? Does anyone know what that is? If no one does I'll just google it. Anyways that panel where she was submerged in the water was pretty cool. I feel like going through that process would be cool but only if you didn't have so many horrible memories like Rowan does. I mean it looks like all those memories took a toll on her in her younger years. I mean at least she's a badass now though so that's a good thing. Darn this issue had a sad ending. Yo that little girl with her mouth shown shut is creepy. I sure hope I don't see stuff like that before I die. Artwork was great. As for the story it was also great. At first I didn't know what to think but then I started to like it. I totally thought they'd come back right where they left off but they decided to pause on that for a bit and let us see a bit of Rowans past which was nice so I'll give this issue a 10 out of 10.

Things I learned from this issue. If you see s creepy little girl with yellow eyes and her mouth shown shut you should probably run unless you want to die. I think I'll even add that in my notes to self section.

Review: Darth Vader #8

This issue opens up with a heist. Actually half the issue is about this heist. I mean don't get me wrong that had some cool scenes but I can't make any jokes from them. All I got is my typical don't go to space cause shit tends to hit the fan when you go to space. Next we see a meeting.... Wait what the issues over already? Dam guess that meeting was so boring that it put me to sleep. How can they even title this issue Darth Vader? He was only in it for half the issue. I'm not that pleased with the story in this issue. In fact I say you could probably just skip reading it and be ok in reading all the other issues. Artwork is still good. I'll give this issue a 5 out of 10

Things I learned from this issue. Avoid space at all cost. Wait I already know that. But still it's true.

Review: Outcast #9

This issue opens up where the last one left off. No shit we saw them at the gasstation and people staring at them cause they were new to town or something. Can we please just move on... Oh dear lord I think I'm gonna throw up. Like I support love but that was like watching to piles of flesh try and merge with each other. I really did not need to see that. Looks like Detective Masters likes to party way to hard. Yes you know you've partied way to hard the night before when you wake up on the floor across the room from the person you porked the night before. Well hopefully Kyle doesn't beat the crap out of someone in this soup kitchen cause there's way too many people and I don't think he'd be able to talk his way out of that one. Hey I'm the same as that person who randomly yelled outcast once Kyle stepped outside. Sometimes when I'm at Walmart and leaving the store I like to randomly yell hey fuck face! For no apparent reason. No I'm not gonna explain why I do it. Why don't you guess it just tell me why I do it ya. Um well this issue didn't end on a good note but now I have alot of questions. Artwork is still good. As for the story well I'm still hooked even though I seem to give it alot of shit. I'll give this issue a 10 out of 10.

Things I learned from this issue. Kyle doesn't need to beat the shit out of people who are possed anymore. Now he can just cry on them till the demon leaves.... Wait I feel like this could lead to some awkward moments.

Review: Dark Fang #1

This issue opens up with... Um whoops I think my comic shop gave me a playboy magazine or something cause what I'm seeing now looks like stuff you'd find in one of those. Hopefully no one walks in... No wait it is a comic this one was just trying to draw the reader in by making it a snuff book. I assume that's what you'd call this since it's not a film. Anyways we see our main character learn what tokens are and her adventure of becoming a cam girl. Man for a comic about a vampire I expected there to be more blood. Like where's all the blood? We also see that our main character was a mermaid at some point. What's the name for the mixter of a mermaid and a vampire. A vampmaid? Are those more deadly then your average mermaid? This issue ends with our main character finding something on one of her fangs. Not to be rude here guys but what the fuck is her name? I assume it's Valla cause at the end of the issue she was trying to control my mind to get me to send her an email. So basically I'll refer to her as Valla tell her name is revealed. Artwork was great. As for the story it was alright so I'll give this issue a 7 out of 10.

Things I learned from this issue. Cam girls make a shit ton of money and I feel like this issue was trying to get girls to go into the cam girl business.
