Review: Outcast #20

This issue opens up where the last issue left off. I'm sure when this episode airs on TV every woman will think it's the best thing on the planet. I mean heck they liked fifty shades of grey and I hear the dude in that movie was abusive so I'm sure they'd like seeing an old guy lock a young man in his sex dungeon.

Wait why are we going back in time. I want to know if Kyle will escape it not. Dammit. Anyways we see Reverend Anderson banging on Kyles door and yelling his name. Reverend if I were Kyle I wouldn't want to talk to you either. Half the time you claim what a holy man you are and that you've cast those demons out. Yet I don't think a holy man gambles, drinks or smokes so no you're not holy and no you definitely don't have the power to cast demons out of people.

Anyways later on we see Reverend Anderson run into Allison. I love how she follows him to the dudes house and doesn't even try to stop him from kicking the door in. I'd hate to have Reverend Anderson as my Reverend.

Next we see Allison go to Ambers school and talk to the principal and some creepy lady who smiled way to much during their conversation. Why is everyone and their dog staring at Allison and Amber as they leave the school? You guys are fucking creepy as hell.

We see Reverend Anderson talk to Brians wife who kept clenching her fist. Is she a demon to? Or did Sydney tell her he'd help but that if she told anyone where Brian really was he'd kill him instead. Jeez the Reverend is doing some questionable in this issue. He just tailed Brains wife to a house and is now jumping the fence. And now he's watching some kinky stuff happen. This issue ends with two people standing behind Reverend Anderson as he watches the kinky stuff happen in the sex dungeon. Artwork was pretty good. And yes the story didn't go the route I wanted it to but it wasn't bad. I hope Allison doesn't let Mrs. creepy smiles lady put Amber in that school. I give this issue a 10 out of 10.

Things I learned from this issue. If you claim to be a holy man even though you may gamble, drink and smoke. If you claim to be one and say you have the power of god in your side then you have the right to kick someones door down like Reverend Anderson did in this issue.

Review: Paradox Girl #6

This issue opens up with Paradox Girl at some place called C.R.A.Z.Y. what exactly is C.R.A.Z.Y? What do they do there? Do they drive people crazy? Heck my love for my ex drives me crazy every day. I mean heck some mornings I wake up to me screaming at myself in my head saying WHY DO YOU STILL LOVE HER AFTER EVERYTHING SHE'S DONE TO YOU!? And honestly I have no clue why I do self.

Anyways next we see Axiom Man meet Paradox Girl at C.R.A.Z.Y. Apparently he got his own series which I'll be reviewing next time. I kinda don't know if I like him yet or not.

Oh look it's a restaurant that served Waffos. What are Waffos? I know I've asked but are they real? And if so do they taste better than waffles? I'm being serious here guys.

We get to watch Paradox Girl go back in time to when the Waffo house was up and running. Those scenes of her eating Waffos is funny and cute at the same time.

Who's that mystery person watching Paradox Girl eat Waffos? Well crap now she's locked in the place. Doctor Doctor is not a real name dude. I don't like you already. Anyways Doctor Doctor goes all fifty shades of grey and locks Paradox Girl in the house of Waffos. I'm sure that's not really the name but since I don't remember it that's what I'm referring to the place as. Man that Doctor is one sick fuck. He kept her there and just watched her eat Waffos for six months. At least my foot fetish isn't as bad as this guys turn on.

Paradox Girl finally finds out who the sick Doctor is and uses that knowledge to get out. I don't care if he's a good guy now I still don't like him. This issue ends with Paradox Girl sleeping. Shh don't wake her she's had a long day she was trapped in some sick Doctors fifty shades of grey prison. The artwork was amazing. As for the story it was one of the best. This issue is definitely one of my favorites. We got to see Paradox Girl at her happiest. At least that's what I think and we got to see how certain things began. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Things I learned from this issue. All I need to make Paradox Girl my wife and keep her happy is feed her Waffos all the time.

Review: Spider-Man/Deadpool #16

This issue opens up with Deadpool being beaten with a stick. Jeez Cami beat him like he was her red headed step child.

Anyways the gang finally gets to Latvia after almost being in final destination. Some of those deaths in those movies made my skin crawl. Isn't versus a moblie game or am I thinking of a completely different game? Either way I've wanted to play it. Cami I think you need to fix that stick of yours. That old lady is definitely not Dracula.

We go back to New York where we watch King Kong attack The Mercs For Money. I've not read that series is it any good? It looks lame to me which is why I haven't read it. Is it bad that I don't care if The Mercs For Money die? Like it wouldn't make me sad is all I'm saying. Stop glaring at me like that.

We go back to Deadpool and gang. So does that toilet only do that for visitors? And if not does Draculas mind control stop the old lady from pulling the leaver or whatever you want to call it? Also does he switch out old ladies if she can't get visitors to come in her house?

Hey look it's Planet of the apes. Oh so that's how the apes took over the earth. I mean it makes sense it was the only way to stop Deadpools wife. Hey I wonder if they can stop my crazy ex from getting ahold of me? Also helping me fall out of love with her would be awesome.

Haha that scene with Dracula was funny. Doesn't mean I like him though or this version of him I mean. Next we see people play video games. Hey I picked up this comic book to read not play video games. This issue ends with everyone and their dogs falling asleep in New York. Like seriously if it only affects humans then how come it put King Kong and his friend to sleep? Yes this issue wasn't confusing like the last one but the story was all over the place and that bugged me. But hey the artwork was good. I give this issue a 6 out of 10.

Things I learned from this issue. That old people can be just as creepy in the Marvel Universe like the old people in Outcast.

Review: Dark White #2

This issue opens up with Ramses not being able to sleep. Man I don't blame you living in the world you live in. Anyways Ramses spots a Drac-Neen which is a hybrid between two creatures. And no I do not remember which two but they can fly.

Next we meet the Drac-Neen and find out his name is Ronto-Arc. Lilly should look into making a plush or statue of him. I'd buy either one. Ronto-Arc runs into a homeless wolf. I mean and old friend of his named Adaphoi who warns him that there are still elves hiding in the woods. Why are elves the bad guys in this series? I really like elves.

Oh no this is one of those dark scenes with Oracle and Lord Vega. Jeez I get he sees visions when he's under a shit ton of stress but maybe letting him have water and food every once in awhile would I don't know not cause him to die on you guys. Like they gotta start thinking about that or he will die on them. Dam that pit full of Oracles kind was scary and sad at the same time.

We go back to Ronto-Arc who meets up with his friend and crush Ares who's another wolf. I have to say she looks like one wolf you would not want to fuck with. Dam making a note to self never to call Ronto-Arc a mule or he'll set you on fire like he just did to that wolf.

This issue ends with Ronto-Arc and Ares going to Ronto-Arcs sisters grave who's next to Ares fathers grave. Man that's sad. This whole issue was good it made me feel three different emotions at different times. Fear, happiness and sadness. With storytelling and art that good I have to give this issue a 10 out of 10. Review: The Unbelievable Gwenpool #23

This issue opens up with Doctor Doom standing over a dead War Machine with a hoodie monologuing. Jeez he's saying more than she is. Like is this really how his character is? I've honestly never read his old stuff and probably should.

Wait really she killed him that fast? Why isn't she on the Avengers then? Heck she could basically make a new team of just herself. It could be called the Gweners... You're right not that good of a name but one might come to me in the future.

Next we see Vinnie have a mental breakdown. Oh looks like Doom returned and helped him with his mental breakdown. Oh no he's back. I feel like if you gave him a pen and paper he could write a whole novel.

Anyways Doctor Doom and Gwenpool fight some more. Wait how can he follow her outside the panels? That isn't fair. Though then I guess they had to toughen him up for her battle with him. Oh cool War Machine wearing a hoodie just killed Doctor Doom. I really need to read his series. I mean seriously he seems dope.

This issue ends with Gwenpool and War Machine with a hoodie having a heart to heart talk about her series coming to an end. No dammit I don't want this series to end. I mean I know it already did but I wish they hadn't canceled it cause it's so good. I mean heck she's like my Deadpool. Anyways the artwork was amazing and the story was funny, scary and sad at the same time. I'd suggest reading this series if you haven't cause I feel like it's one that connects with alot of readers. So go buy all the volumes and give them a read. I give this issue a 10 out of 10.

Things I learned from this issue. War Machine with a hoodie is a pretty powerful comic book character. I mean look he died and came back to life. I'm thinking it's a sign that I should read his series.

Review: Children Of Eldair #1

This chapter opens up with us learning about the God and Goddess and how they made Eldair. So I take it that me and someone else love each other enough we can make our own world? Cool :).

Next we meet the main character Koe who is a Sorcerer. He ends up saving a girl from things called Flesh eaters. Yes they're definitely creepy. Oh cool Koe healed her.

We see him talk to her while she's in a coma for a month and a half if I remember correctly. Wait did the Flesh eaters cause that? And if so is there a way to wipe them out so that doesn't happen to anyone else? Anyways the second charcter finally wakes up and we find out that her name is Embera.

We find out that she has nightmares about the past and cries when she sees herself in the mirror. I understand how you feel Embera I'm scared of my own reflection sometimes to. I've never cried while looking at myself but I make sure not to look directly at the mirror or I have to leave the room. And yes I'm being very serious when I say my own reflection scares me sometimes.

This chapter ends with Koe taking Embera to the The Gazing Pond where he reads and connects stars to help her find her friends. So she's from earth huh. I wonder how she got to Eldair. This first chapter was pretty good and the artwork was amazing. I can't wait to find out more about Eldair and all the characters. And I really want Koes staff. You can buy the first volume at www.eldair.com or if you want you can just read every chapter online since this is a webcomic but I'd definitely suggest buying the first and second volume :). I give this chapter a 10 out of 10.

Things I learned from this chapter. Never go where the Flesh eaters are if you're in Eldair unless you want to be put in a coma.

Review: Darth Vader #17

This issue opens up with the Jedi council having a meeting. I mean the Ore Barons having a meeting. Sorry guys no Yoda in this issue.

Next we see Vader and the queen in some sort of castle or something. I've seen cooler looking castles. I mean heck dark spire in The Magicians is one dope ass castle.

We get to see a flying or hovering ship come out of the lava and attack the castle. Bad move guys. See told you Vader and the twins just took you out. See scenes like these are the reason why I like Vader and think he's so cool. I have a question how come their ship didn't melt when it was in the lava but once lava enters the hull it melts it? Or sank it but still.

I don't know why Aiolin thought Vader would train her. I mean when your master makes you, your brother and the others to overthrow Vader what makes you think he'll train me if I ask nicely and kiss his ass. This next scene made me angry. I thought they really killed Doctor Aphra off but sadly her fans prayers kept her alive.

This issue ends with Cylo offering up Vader on a silver platter to the Ore Barons. Cylo what makes you think you'll be able to overpower Vader and make that happen? He'd force crush your throat before you got the jump on him. And sadly your sex bots won't be able to do it either. Why, you ask? Well because their not as strong as him. Artwork was good. As for the story it was way better than the last few issues. I love when they show action scenes of scenes of Vader doing dope stuff such as sinking a flying ship. I get that they can't always do that but those are the parts in the series I find to be enjoyable and not boring so I give this issue an 8 out of 10.

Things I learned from this issue. To avoid Shu-Torun. I mean who'd want to live on a volcanic planet? It'd be raining ash every day and that doesn't sound like a peaceful place to live.
