This issue opens up with Dominic looking at a knife while one of his men calls all of Magnuses stuff crap. Next we see Dominic walk up to the guy who's calling everything crap and kill him with the knife. Note to self don't work for Dominic. Next we see Tegan distract Dominic so Vesper and Corrick can sneak up behind him. Wait what were all his men doing? Oh dam cue fight scene. We get to see Vesper use the powerstone and Tegan. This whole fight scene goes on for awhile. It's entertaining. One of Dominics men shoots Corrick in the back and proceeds to choke him. Oh so that's what happens if you touch Corricks flesh without anything on you get burned. Next we see Corrick use the powerstone snd complete destroy the crow's nest. Note to self avoid Corrick when he has the powerstone. Corrick, Vesper and Tegan ride off before Dominic appears from the ruble. I love the comment Tegan makes about her having fun without having to have her ankles up in the air. Corrick tells Vesper thst he's only supposed to protect her not be her friend and that he's already gotten to close. Next we Tegan go back home instead of joining Corrick and Vesper. Dang I like Tegan she's funny and pretty. Vesper ask Corrick what would happen if no one wore the amulet and Corrick tells her that he needs to protect her. Awww see he's got feelings for her. This issue ends with Corrick and Vesper riding off somewhere. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good definitely can't wait to start up volume two :). I give this issue and volume a 10 out of 10. I wonder if Magnus really tried to kill Dominic. Things I learned from this issue. Tegan would be fun to be around ;).
