Review: The Flash #1

This issue opens up with Barry getting struck by lighting. I get that this is a number one issue but that doesn't mean you need to rehash how he became The Flash I mean there's graphic novels and even the tv show for people to go and get that info. Anyways we see The Flash save a bunch of people while he thinks to himself. I know where you can start for your and Batmans case Flash. Just go to DC Comics headquarters and tell the writers to own up to their mistakes and give you guys back the ten years they stole. Anyways we see Barry Allen arrive late to a crime scene and get chewed out for it. Jeez chill out dude it's not like he won't get the case solved just because he's late. Later on Barry has a quick talk with Iris and Wally and then runs off to pull people out of a burning building. We see some guy getting attacked by some gang or whatever that calls themselves The Black Hole and apparently they killed his brother. Sorry but that name is lame. The Black Hole lmao... oh shit sorry I didn't mean to make fun of it so will you please quit shooting at me. Oh look you just shot that guy you dicks and the flash got here to late to stop you from shooting him. Dam he day isn't going so good. First he got shot now he got struck by lighting. I'm guessing he'll get run over next. Who the heck is that green lighting dude beating up the guys that just shot that cop? This issue ends with us finding out who that green lighting dude is. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good can't wait to read the next issue :). I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Remember kids if you get struck by lighting you just might become The Flash if you're lucky enough. Things I learned from this issue. Avoid central city unless you want to go there and try to get struck by lighting to see if you're lucky enough to become The Flash.

Review: The Amazing Spider-Man #8

This issue opens up with all of Inspector Suns men getting the cure for Mister Negatives drug shade and his evil touch powers that turn people evil. So now would be a good idea to put that cure in the water system so no one else in China will become evil if Mister Negative touches them or gives them shade. Um why aren't you guys doing that? Fine be stupid. Anyways next we see Peter Parker give a speech and then take a ride up his own building in the Spider-Mobile in order to give Quinghao an award. Anyways while he does this Mister Negative watches to see if Peter Parker obeyed his orders which he clearly did not cause Mister Negative has Cloak teloport him and all his men there. We get a whole fight scene of Spider-Man curing Cloak, tge cops and the inner demons fighting each, Cloak curing Dagger. So ya awesome. Anyways next Peter Parkers girlfriend attacks him. I mean Spider-Man but that's still him so ya. Also funny how Spider-Man never said she was his girlfriend till this issue happened. While Spider-Man and his girlfriend die we see Mister Negative use his touch on Quinghao in order to get him to confess his sins and then jump out a window. Back to Spider-Man fighting his girlfriend we see Mockingbird give him information on her which helps him stop her from trying to kill him. Spider-Man has crappy luck with girlfriends. Later on after Spider-Mans girlfriend saves Quinghao we see Phillip tell Quinghao that he won't work with a man like him after learning of his sins. This issue ends with Mister Negative telling Spider-Man and his friends to go back to America and let him have China. Highly doubt they'll let you fo that. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Can't believe Peter Parker is still dating that chick after she tried to kill him. I'd be very afraid of her after that and leave her... actually I probably wouldn't because I'd probably get killed for doing that. Things I learned from this issue. That a lot of people will probably be working for Mister Negative soon since no one put the cure in the water system in China. Also I won't go to China till I know that Mister Negative is gone.

Review: Harley Quinn #15

This issue opens up with some girls asking another girl how her date went which she says went good till he tried to shake her hand instead of kiss her goodnight. Well that's a good thing on the first date cause it shows you he's not afraid of germs. Also what'd you expect he's your boss or whatever. Next we see some guy basically say how he'd like to do naughty stuff with her which causes her to give him the bird. It's funny cause right after she gives him the bird we see Harley Quinn buying a bunch of birds and dog food. I'm sure my dog Lala would love to live in her apartment with all those other dogs. Next we see Harley Quinn fight some guy named Tinderbox while in a burning building that he set on fire. Dude your not heat wave leave that to him. Next we see everyone jump on top of him to get to the ground safely. I'm surprised someone isn't screaming after Harley Quinn killed him. I mean I highly doubt he's alive with how many people jumped on him from that high up plus they never showed him alive so why isn't someone screaming oh dear god we all just killed that man! I mean we kinda helped kill him but that clown girl delivered the last blow. Guess they're not freaking out cause he set the place on fire and they can probably live with knowing that they didn't deliver the last blow. Later on we see some chick beat the shit out of some people at a restaurant. To see what happens to her after go buy and reaf this issue. Back in Harley Quinns apartment we see Poison Ivy in Harley Quinns bathtub. Some nerds are probably sad that there wasn't a nip slip. Anyways Poison Ivy listens to Harley as she tells her all her problems. Well that went fast Harley Quinn is now lying on top of Poison Ivy. And no they're not naked. Nerds are also probably mad that they didn't get a make out lesbian scene. To that I say go buy some porn and lock yourself in your room you lonely nerd. This issue ends with Harley Quinn asking for an assistant. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise fast but good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. After my friend reads this review I'm sure he'll be like where can I get this issue I need to see the almost lesbian make out scene. Things I learned from this issue. Don't go to that restaurant where that one chick used to work unless you want a bat to the face and hand.

Review: Spider-Women Omega #1

This issue opens up with evil Cindy Moon blowing up Jesse Drews house. Good thing he wasn't inside it. Also it's good that she didn't put a tracker on him or in him. Next we see evil Cindy Moon go to her evil lady lair and set stuff on fire. Is she aiming to kill herself in rage? Breaking news lady throws a fit and bruns herself. Sports up next. We also get to see Jessica Drew sneak up on Cindy... sorry had to check all my windows to maker sure Jessica Drew wasn't sneaking up on me. Next we get a fight between Jessica Drew and evil Cindy Moon. We also see Spider-Gwen try to lift a motorcycle to see if her spider powers have kicked in yet. I have a feeling they'll kick in at the right time :). Well shit Jessica Drew is out for the count. Note to self never fight evil Cindy Moon when she has a bunch of evil gadgets on her side. I have to say the scene where Spider-Gwen came out with an arsenal of weapons and shot at evil Cindy Moon made me smile. Just shows you that she's always badass even without her powers. Oh look the other Cindy Moon decided to join the fight. I wonder if she'll return all her tech after she uses it or if she'll give it to Black Cat to try and gain more of her trust. Sadly good Cindy Moon doesn't last long in the fight either. Looks like it's down to Spider-Gwen and evil Cindy Moon which I was hoping it'd come down to and am excited that it did :). Yes Gwen kick her ass. Oh shit that's gotta hurt evil Cindy Moon is beating the shit out of Spider-Gwen :(. But wait here's my favorite part or another one. Gwen finally gets her powers back and beats the fuck out of evil Cindy Moon. Fuck yes knew Spider-Gwen would beat the shit out of her for her stealing her powers. This issue ends with Gwen Stacy, Cindy Moon and Jessica Drew all having lunch or brunch I'm sure it's one of the two but I'm to lazy to check. Artwork was really good. Story wise pretty fucking good! I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I'm so glad I bought the trade paperback for this crossover :). Things I learned from this issue. Evil Cindy Moon is no match for Spider-Gwen.

Bullshit Blog Update #139

So yesterday I went to Fear Con for the first time which was pretty cool. I got a couple new art prints and an art book. I also had to buy my friend shorts cause he thought his moms idea of wearing a dress to Fear Con would be a good idea which it wasn't. Anyways for Fear Cons first year it was pretty good. Hopefully they'll have more stuff next year but I'd definitely go again. Oh tomorrow Dirk Manning launches his kickstarter for the Nightmare World Omnibus and Nightmare World volume 4 which I'm way excited for so I'll definitely share the link for his kickstarter on my blog tomorrow :). I have to say it was cool to get a picture with Dezcreepcore she's pretty awesome and I got a signed print of her cosplaying as Spider-Gwen who is my favorite :).

Review: Batman #1

This issue opens up with people on a plane. I get the feeling that something bad is gonna happen to this plane. Yep while Batman and Jim Gordon were talking on the roof the plane got hit by a missile or nuke. Anyways next we get a ton of scenes of Batman talking to Alfred and Duke. Is it me or does it seem like this issue is trying to go real fast. Anyways we see Batman get himself on the outside of the plane and put some devices on it. See people this is why Batman is awesome. Superwimp would cheat and fly underneath it and take it to a safe place. I hear he's dead though. Also it's kinda funny how no writers are trying to mess with Batmans series yet in all the others they're taking there homes away or putting some jerk in the speed force. If I say his name he'll break into my house just because he's super fast and can. Anyways we see Batman use the devices to help him push the plane. Who's that guy on the rooftop creepily watching Batman work? Maybe it's just my friend in desguise waiting for the right time to kill the real Batman so he can take his place as the new Batman but say that Batman never died that it was some creep when really he killed Batman. This issue ends with us meeting two new characters. To find out who these characters are go buy and read this issue. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise to fast but I definitely give this issue a 10 out of 10. I wonder how long those two new characters will last. Also their names make me laugh. Things I learned from this issue. Batman basically saved the day but these two new characters tried to steal his thunder and are acting like they just did.

Review: Spider-Woman #7

This issue opens up with Jessica Drew going into her apartment to find a drunk Roger and her evil twin holding her son. How'd he even find out where she lived? I mean it's not like they think like each other. Heck his lives in a mansion while she lives in a crappy apartment so again how'd he even find out where she lived? We see Jesse put her baby to sleep. Well they're both good at parenting have to give them that. Anyways after Roger leaves we get a fight scene. To see who wins go buy and read this issue. Next we see Gwen Stacy look up all the files on the s.i.l.k drive. See Silk this is what you guys should've done before hand. I think Gwen even mentioned it in your issue before Gwen decided to go to Parker Industries with you and keep you ass safe which caused her to lose her powers! Sorry had to put that out there. Later on we see Jessica Drew and Jesse talk about how they should call a truce and how she should just let him go home and not worry about what evil Cindy Moon has planned. Really? You really think she'd just not worry about it anymore just cause you say there's no reason to worry? Well this definitely proves that he's dumb. Also if evil Cindy Moon is anything like Silk then ya Jessica Drew should be worried. Next we get a scene where Gwen Stacy punches Jesse in the face and breaks her hand. Dan that sucks. Also it sucks seeing her in pain though she sucked it up which shows how awesome she is. Gwen Stacy tells Jessica how she lost her powers snd tells Jesse that he doesn't need anymore doses of the radioactive isotope that evil Cindy Moon gives him which is basically venom from the spider that bit her. At least that's what I got out of it. This issue ends with Jesse giving Gwen Stacy the last two doses he has. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise well written. Can't wait to read the last issue to this crossover :). I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Yay Spider-Gwen is back. I mean she never left so yay she's got spider powers again. Things I learned from this issue. If you ever need a babysitter don't have Roger watch your kid cause he'll let an evil villain take care of them as long as they lie to him and say they're related to you.
