Review: Like Father, Like Daughter #3

In this issue we get to see Casey save the day without using her powers. Which was great to read cause it shows that anyone can be a hero no matter what. Casey also gets to have a very important talk with her father. So now that he's talked to her will he quit spying on her? We also learn that Invulnerable doesn't know certain stuff which is very surprising since you'd think he'd know that stuff. All in all this issue was a fantastic issue and has me waiting on issue four wondering what will happen next. The artwork was wonderful. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Remember kids and everyone else don't be mean to someone for no reason and if you see someone being mean to someone else for no reason be the hero and save the day. Bullshit Blog Update #142

So Saturday I got a new phone and lost all my previous reviews which were saved in my notes so no new post till I get some new one reviewes written which I will make sure to save in other areas so that if I get a new phone again I'll always have backups. Review: Spider-Gwen #13

This issue opens up with The Mary Janes trick or treating. Ok I know Mary Jane is the scarlet spider and I know that the scarlet spider has been in comics but I haven't read those. Anyways the rest of the group decides to go somewhere else since Gwen is still upset. Well I can say this them going to an old abandoned carnival probably isn't the best idea. It's probably just as bad as the night when me and the ex and a few of our friends were gonna drive to an old pond of whatever that is poisonous and on the way their we were driving on a road that had graves off to the side and shit just got bad from there. Just so you all no I was not gonna swim in that pond at night or ever but me and my ex girlfriends friends sure wanted to go skinny dipping in it that night. Anyways so The Mary Janes go to the abandoned carnival where shit soon goes bad such as one friend running off after a cat while the others fall in a hole. Um Betty that cat definitely has nine lives so I'm sure it'll be fine. The Mary Janes also experience gas that makes them hallucinate their biggest fears. All I have to say is the villan didn't really seem like much of a villain cause once Betty came through the door with an axe in hand the dude freaked out. This issue ends with a big boom. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I feel bad for Gwen hopefully she'll be happy again soon. Things I learned from this issue. Mary Jane of earth 65 is afraid of dancing so I wonder what earth 616 Mary Jane is afraid of. Oh wait I know. She's afraid of marrying Peter Parker.

Review: Suicide Squad #4

This whole issue is pretty much Suicide Squad vs Zod and some other characters. To see everything that happens go buy snd read this issue. Um I'm kinda disappointed and glad that this arc only lasted four issues. Disappointed cause I feel like they could've maybe done five issues or 6 and add a little more to tge arc. Glad it only lasted four issue cause it didn't seem like they were doing a whole lot with the arc so I give this issue a 8 out of 10. Hopefully the next arc will be longer. Didn't really learn anything from this issue.

Review: Supernatural Season 12 Episode 3 ( The Foundry )

This episode opens up with a couple hearing a baby crying in an old house and then going inside to find it only to die. See kids this is why you don't go in abandoned houses when you hear a baby cry cause chances are you'll end up dead. Also after watching shows like this you should always take notes. Next we see Sam and Deans mom reading their dads journal, talk to Cas about something and then cut her hair. I wonder when Sam will cut his hair. Later we see Sam and Deans mom find them a case. See guys if Sam and Dean and there mom weren't around to hunt monster or stop people from dying in weird ways than people would keep being stupid and dying in weird ways like having their hearts turned to ice in a room tha was sixty something. Those scenes with Cas and Crowley are pretty funny. Anyways Sam, Dean and Mary all go to the abandoned house where people hear babies crying only to have their mom get grabbed by a creepy ghost kid. If this ever happened to me I'd run out of the house then come back later and burn the dam thing to the ground. Dam Rowena way to show the devil that you're not as stupid as you look. Note to self never trust Rowena. Next we get a few scenes of Mary talking to people on the phone and then going back to the abandoned house alone. Didn't she ever learn not to do that in hunting 101 or whatever? I'd say she's a Winchester so she can't die but heck they all do and then they come back well except for their Dad. Anyways after Sam and Dean fight their possed mom and then burn the body of the real ghost that's haunting the place they go back to the bunker only to have something very sad happen. To see what happens and why it's sad go watch this episode. Dam that ending is sad but you could see how hurt Dean was so I'll give this episode a 9 out of 10. Things I learned from this episode if you hear a baby crying in an abandoned house don't go in unless you have a death wish.

Review: The Amazing Spider-Man #12

This issue opens up with Peter Parker talking about his tux and then Mary Jane who happens to show up right as he's talking about her. She's not as hot as Gwen Stacy but she's ok. Later on we see Tony Stark tell Peter Parker that he needs to be more like him and then tells him that Spider-Man is costing Parker Industries more money then he is helping them make it. Tony I'm pretty sure Iron Man has done the same thing for your company in the past so you have no room to talk. Anyways the next few pages are Peter being jelous that Mary Jane is at his companies party or whatever with Tony Stark and also being nervous to talk cause he sees her in ghe crowd. Dude you've probably porked her a lot so why are you all nervous dude? Just think of all the times you've porked her and that should help you geg past the nervousness. Also yes you did screw up. Heck you did it clear back in that one Spider-Man series where your aunt got shot and you made a deal with the devil... wait actually you didn't screw up cause Mary Jane is not your true love it was Gwen Stacy who is hottef than Mary Jane. Anyways next the Ghost attacks the party snd then we see a team up between Iron Man and Spider-Man. Um guys less arguing with each and more kicking the bad guys ass. Dude I know August Roman he's from that one Spider-Man series where Peter Parker and Mary Jane were still married. To see how Spider-Man and Iron Man beat the Ghost go buy and read this issue. This issue ends with August Roman suiting up in his Regent suit while looking at screens of superheros. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Sucks that Peter Parkers true love is dead. Things I learned from this issue. That Peter Parker didn't screw up when he made that deal with the devil.

Interview #35 With C.D. Rudd

Last year I did an Interview with the writer/artist C.D. Rudd hope you guys enjoy and check his stuff out :).

1: What got you into comics?

C.D. Rudd: I used to read comics when I was a kid. Marvel, DC, Archie, Manga (Viz and Tokyopop), Image etc... I wasn't a huge reader, but I read.
What got me into webcomics, though, was an idea I had for a comic. I wanted to make a comic, but lacked the skill to do it well. I use to spend HOURS thinking and plotting and figuring out the comic. Sketching possible characters when I had the chance.

Then one day, I came across a webcomic. I've read professional comics online before. But when I saw a amateur comic, this inspired me to practice making comics, so that one day I could move onto making 'the comic' I've always wanted to make.

2: How'd you come up with the idea for I Dream Of a Jeanie Bottle?

C.D. Rudd: It was really a fluke. I watched a lot of I Dream of Jeannie at one point (I'm a big retro TV fan), and decided to make a comic of some guy getting turned into a genie that looked like the TV genie. I posted it on Deviantart and it was received extremely well. So I drew another... then another... then another.. eventually I decided... well, might as well make this into a webcomic, since I was already up to like 20 or 30 strips by that point.

3: How long has this series been around?

C.D. Rudd: The first Jeanie Bottle comcic went up February 18, 2009 (http://fav.me/d1vi74z)

4: Would you ever want this series to be a tv show or movie? If so why or why not?

C.D. Rudd: I would love to see it go further then just webcomics.

5: How long does it normally take you to write a strip or complete arc for this series?

C.D. Rudd: It varies depending on what's going on, the size and what's in the strip. I usually have a good idea what's going to happen weeks ahead of time, if not earlier. Creating a strip usually takes 3 - 4 hours. Each story usually tends to go 1/4 - 1/2 of a year (remember, it's updated once a week).

6: What is your favorite arc or arcs and why?

C.D. Rudd: Favorite... usually the next one to be made... Why? Cause there is SO much potential to come out of it.
if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the 'I Dream of a B-witch' story. I always wanted to see what Jeannie and Samantha would do if they ever met.

7: Who's your favorite character in this series and why?

C.D. Rudd: That's like asking, "Who's your favorite child?" If I had to pick one right now... I'd say Araceli. I love the way the readers rally behind her at one moment, and then hate her another. She's a lovable character who's good and bad at the same time.

8: What advice could you give to someone who wants to start writing their own webcomic?

C.D. Rudd: I believe you need 2 of 3 things to have a good webcomic. A good story and characters, good art and/or update regularly. To have a great webcomic, you need all three.

Too many webcomicers start off well but then slow down, go on hiatus or just quit before they can build a readership. One thing I wish all webcomicers would do is to conclude a project before stopping it cold.

9: What experiences have you learned from writing this series?

C.D. Rudd: That people are no longer upset when seeing a Genie's naval.

10: What about this series makes it special to you?

C.D. Rudd: It's a unique series that appeals to the younger crowd and the older crowd who remember the classic TV shows.

11: How long is this series going to be around?

C.D. Rudd: Till I get tired of making it. Or till Jeanie get trapped in her bottle. Whichever comes first.

12: If you could date any comic book character who would you date and why?

C.D. Rudd: Anyone? I'd say the English version of Mutsumi Otohime from Love Hina. She's kind, sweet, carrying, (hot) and owns flying turtles... Who wouldn't date her?

13: Where can people find you on the internet?

C.D. Rudd: Between the one and the zero, after the two. (That's a little computer joke.)

Review: Solar Flare #6

This issue opens up with Jake and his friends packing all their stuff so that they can leave before Jakes fat crazy uncle gets their... dude is he that excited to leave for his crazy trip that he's already at the door looking for Jake or did the writers just decide to give him a head start. Ok that makes no sense to tell them to go upstairs and wait when they're already doing that you old fart. Anyways the next few scenes are them sneaking out before his uncle can see them and then his uncle reading the letter he wrote to his parents. I'm guessing Jakes fat crazy uncle used to sneak into girls houses at night. I mean with the way he's acting right now it gives me that impression. Later on we see Jake meet up with Frank and then go in and get a gun and some money from his dads safe in the store. Yep the writers definitely gave the fat crazy uncle some advantages in this issue cause he's already at the store beating the heck out of old man Frank. Dude I'm pretty sure that your new America needs sciencetist and probably doesn't want people who'll go around and beat the fuck out of people just cause their different from you. Ya all I can say is this whole issue was stupid so it doesn't surprise me that the ending would be just as dumb. Don't ever read this series. Artwork was meh. Story wise way to dumb for me yo handle. I give this issue a 3 out of 10. So glad I'm done with this series. Things I learned from this issue. Don't hang around your fat crazy uncle when the whole world goes to shit unless you like having some fat crazy guy beat the fuck out of you just cause you're different from him.

Review: The Unbelievable Gwenpool #7

This issue opens up with Aliens turning Gwenpool into a pig. Is is bad that me seeing her as a pig makes me want bacon? Dammit I really need to buy bacon just for when moments like this happen. Later on we find out that they didn't actually turn her into a pig she just put a costume on a pig which works for a short while. I thought she'd know that that plan wouldn't last long. Anyways we see her meet with the mystery client who seems way to normal. No really like you know how some people are normal and then some are way to normal like they have skeletons in their closet. Don't trust him Gwenpool. As soon as you get the chance kill him. Anyways we get a scene of a cop calling M.O.D.O.K to figure out where their base is which doesn't go as planned. To see how this issue ends go buy and read this issue. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Better yet I'll just go get a baconator. Things I learned from this issue. That Gwenpools mystery client is way to normal. Ya that's right mystery client I'm on to you.

Review: Insexts #8

This issue opens up with some dude robbing graves. Note to self never become a grave robber unless you want bad shit to happen to you just like what happened to this guy. I mean heck if you want to get attacked by a snake lady then go ahead and become a grave robber. Next we see Lady Bertrams new house we also see that Will isn't a baby anymore. Later on we neet Wills new governess who's name is Madamoiselle Phoebe De Azaïs. I can't even pronounce that name. Wait Will is just like his moms. I wonder if his governess is gonna rip out his wings for her soul. Seems like she's got some bad luck already cause three guys just tried to kill her in broad daylight... wait really guys are you that stupid or was the law extremely messed up back then that you could pull that shit without getting in trouble. Hey I'm pretty sure anyone who loves purging would love living in their time period if the law is that screwed. So anywayd we see Mariah stab one in the eye and use her powers on the other two to make them forget what happened. I'm thinking that Wills governess is the snake lady in disguise or that she's done something else but is still evil. After a while we get to see Lady Bertram break out of her cocoon and then we get another sex scene with her and Mariah. If you ask me these two love to fuck a lot and love being naked. To see the present left for Lady Bertram and how this issue ends go buy and read it. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I'd say I wonder how long Lady Bertram and Mariah could go without fucking or taking off their clothes and I just remembering the first of the issue told me how long they've gone without fucking or taking all their clothes off. Things I learned from this issue. Wills new governess will probably rip his wings out later on for her soul.

Review: Supernatural Season 12 Episode 2 ( Mamma Mia )

This episode opens up with Sam having sex with Supernaturals biggest fan. Guess Sam was into her beating the shit out of him... wait does that mean Sam would make ouy with Tuss Mackmey if he went to Mackmey Manor? Oh good he wasn't really sleeping with her she just used a spell on him. Supernaturals biggest fan sure has a lot of secrets cause she knows how to tourter and even knows some witch spells. Later on we see Crowley interrupt his moms date. Something tells me it won't end well for her. Next we see some singer who likes to drink a lot. Note to self don't drink as much as this guy. Anyways Cas finds out where Sams being held and then we see Dean and his mom drive there. Dude Dean you don't need to be so protective of your mom. I mean heck I'm sure everyone found out that she was pretty badass last episode. Note to self if you see your dead wife or girlfriend in your room and she ask you to invite her in don't say yes. Instead say no or wait you're already in my room so why do I need to invite you in? Also don't be as stupid as Crowley and his mom and convince yourself that you can take on the devil. Back to Sam we see Dean get caught and get the shit beat out him too by Supernaturals biggest fan. I'm surprised they've let her do all this stuff to them. See Dean your moms still a badass cause she's beating the shit out of your guys biggest fan. Oh come on us3thay hand spell is cheating. To see if Supernaturals biggest fan kills their mom and how this episode ends go watch it. I give this episode a 10 out of 10. Hopefully their mom stays alive for the rest of the season and many more. Things I learned from this episode. Don't say yes to a dead loved one asking if you'll invite them in unless you want the devil to posses you.

Review: Plume Volume 2 ( Chapter #4 )

This issue opens up with us finally finding out who the shadow. Oh wow it's exactly who I thought it was. No I won't spoil it for you if you want to know who the shadow is go read the issue for yourself. Anyways we get a bunch of scenes of the shadow kicking our heros asses and even taking Corricks powers from him for a bit. Note to self don't go up against the shadow unless you want your ass kicked. Once Corrick gets his powers back something bad happens to Vesper. To see what happens and how this issue ends go buy and read it. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise good and sad. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Can't wait for the kickstarter for Plume Volume 3. Things I learned from this issue Corrick will protect Vesper even if he doesn't have his powers.

Review: The Amazing Spider-Man #11

This issue opens up with a bunch of people finding out different things about Scorpio and how they work but not being able to reach Peter Parker. Well that's definitely what he gets for knocking out a bunch of satellites. Next we see Scorpio with all the zodiac. Hey Scorpio don't gloat until you actually win. See what you get for gloating now Spider-Man found you and is gonna kick your ass. We get a few pages of team Spider-Man vs team Scorpio. Well looks like Scorpio just screwed both teams over and made a team all by himself. Later on we get a few scenes of Spider-Man playing keep away with the zodiac key. Just hearing what Spider-Man is feeling while he's holding the key would instantly make me drop the thing. Dude Spider-Man why'd you let him take the key away? Now he just opened the giant door. Dam you Spider-Man you just let him win! Dam you to hell! To see what stuff Scorpio sees when he opens the giant door and how this issue ends go buy and read this issue. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise pretty good end to an arc. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. I'm guessing that Spider-Man locking Scorpio in that room is gonna come back to bite him in the ass. Things I learned from this issue. Don't touch the zodiac key unless you want to play keep away with Scorpio while it burns you.

Review: Solar Flare #5

This issue opens up with a flashback to when Brent fucked one of Franks nieces on new years eve. Well it looks like their year started off pretty well.. not. Although when I think about it it'd be nice to have a girlfriend so I can get a kiss on new years and some sex to start the new year in great way. Anyways we go to the present where Jake and Brent go to ask Frank for help. Sadly for Brent he gets left outside since Frank still hates him. Note to self don't do what Brent did. We get to see more of the angry, fat bald stupid uncle. Kinda reminds me of someone I know who's that way and also beats the crap out of kids and tries to break their knees. Wait he almost kills the old man just cause he saw the papers he has and read them. That's like me going to a grocery store after reading this comic and pushing some old person on the ground just because this comic pisses me off. Anyways next we see Jake and Brent go to his family's grocery store where they get attacked. I'm just gonna end this review here since the rest of the issue almost made me fall asleep. Artwork was ok. Story wise a little better but not much. I give this issue a 6 out of 10. Yay one more issue to go! :D. Things I learned from this issue. Go push an old person to the ground if someone, reads and looks at any kind of papers you have cause that'll definitely show them how mad you are and solve all your problems.

Review: Mockingbird #5

This issue opens up with Mockingbird beating the crap out of zombies with her glowing hands. Note to self find stuff that'll make my hands glow so that when and if the zombies come I can just hold up my glowing hands and beat the crap out of them. Later on she saves a doctor who tells her why the zombies are there and where to go to get the antiviral so they can stop all the zombies. One things for sure is with glowing hands you wouldn't need to waste money on flashlights anymore cause your glowing hands would light the place when it was dark. Anyways on the way to the antiviral room Mockingbird runs into a talking duck and Spider-Man. When I see that talking duck all I think is I wonder how good that duck would taste. To see if Mockingbird stops the zombies and how this issue ends go buy and read this issue. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise eh good. I give this issue a 7 out of 10. Now I want glowing hands. Things I learned from this issue. That I want to cook that talking duck and eat it.

Review: Plume Volume 2 ( Chapter #3 )

This issue opens up with Vesper relaxing till Corrick comes to ruin her moment of relaxation. Note to self Corrick is good at keeping people safe but not giving them their personal space. Anyways later ln they meet up with Tegan and who leads them straight to Dominic who was being a total stalker and pervert. See kids even back in the old west perverts and stalkers existed. Anyways we get a scene where Corrick knocks Dominic out and then Tegan beats the shit out of him so they can go find the spellbook that they're after. To see what happens next and how this issue ends go buy and read this issue. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise slow but good. I give this issue a 10 out of 10. Can't wait to see how this volume ends :). Things I learned from this issue. To listen to Corrick when he says not to go after the spellbook that created him.

Review: Green Arrow #4

This issue opens up with Green Arrow beating the crap out of some cops. Well he'd definitely be dead if he was a normal person like me. Oh look we're gonna get a Green Arrow and Diggle team up. Wait why isn't he wearing his costume that he has from the tv show? I'm so confused. Anyways next we see Black Canary put a bomb on some guys neck to try and get him to talk. For a minute there I thought she was serious but it turned out to actually be a dog collar. Anyways we get a short little scene between her and Emiko which ends with Black Canary being knocked out. Later on we see Green Arrow and Diggle fight. Wait who are they fighting over? They better explain why in future issues. To see who wins the fight, everything else that happens and how this issue ends go buy and read this issue. Artwork was pretty good. Story wise good but not great.  I give this issue a 8 out of 10. So is comic book Diggle ever gonna get a costume? Things I learned from this issue. Oliver Queen slept with Diggles woman.

Review: Supernatural Season 12 Episode 1 ( Keep Calm And Carry On )

This episode opens up with Dean getting his ass kicked by his mom. Note to self never mess with Deans mom cause she's pretty badass. Later on we see Cas make a crash landing somewhere, knock some guy out and steal his truck. At least put the guy in hus truck with you so he can drive himself home after you use it. Anyways next we see Supernaturals biggest fan hire some guy to fix Sam up. I'm guessing she'll take him to her creepy basement after he fixes Sam up. From the likes of Sams condition it seems like she's pretty kinky. We also get to see that Crowley is trying to find the devil. While in one house he finds some demons. One of the demons actually is funny to figure out which one it is go watch this episode. Next we get a scene where Deans mom almost shoots Cas and then another scene where she admires Deans car. I like that car to and want one just like it. We get a couple more scenes of Supernaturals biggest fan torturing Sam by giving him a cold shower, burning his feet and then putting drugs in his system. By the looks of it Sam doesn't like her Kinky methods. To see what else happens and how this episode ends go watch it. I give this episode a 10 out of 10. See guys told you she'd take him to her dank basement. Things I learned from this episode. Don't mess with Deans mom cause she's pretty badass.

Review: The Amazing Spider-Man #10

In this issue we get two fight scenes between Scorpio and Spider-Man which both end in Spider-Man saving bystanders and Scorpio escaping. We also get s scene where thr robot butler tells Spider-Man that his body id the perfect vessel. Spider-Man I yhink your robot butler is hitting on you or just wants to skin you and wear your skin. To see who's place Spider-Man breaks into and how this issue ends go buy and read this issue. Story wise good. Artwork was pretty good. I give this issue a 7 out of 10. Hopefully the fight scenes in the next issue last longer. Things I learned from this issue. Don't drink anything Peter Parkers robot butler offers you cause chances are he'll think you're the perfect vessel and make love to you without your consent or skin you alive and then wear your skin.
